  2. He's better than thousands of other hopefulls that try out every year.. after all.. he IS on a MLB roster. Curious... how far did your MLB career take you.. And what blaming do he do of Seattle?
  3. I'll never understand the point... probably better off that way.

He was sick as a dog in Detroit.. yet still was out there before all 3 games we were there for hitting balls for well over 2 hours. And from what I could see he got along with everyone.

Ya know what.. you're right. Get rid of Davis cause he hasn't proven himself yet. And while we're at it.. get rid of that POS Willie "stupid ass I don't know how to steal a base" Harris. I mean.. he's never stolen bases on a regular basis.. so therefor he never will be able to.. :rolly

They treated my mother just fine. Personally.. I no longer shop there. The last one I was in was in Bridgeview and it was dirty which totally turned me off to all of them. I won't go near the new one in Plainfield which I'm sure is nice.... I shop at Target mostly.

I don't get it either.. They both gave a lot of money.. and most of it for tax reasons is my guess.
  15. You are correct. Problem is he was ducking the Sox calls. IMO, good thing. Cut the losses and move on.
  16. Gee Mike.. can you make those pictures a little bigger..?

Thaks KWF. He was hillarious. I liked him in "Me, Myself, And Irene" also.

We bought it last weekend and watched it.. OMFG.. Jim was laughing so hard I thought he was going to piss his pants.. I couldn't breathe. BBT was friggin hysterical and the little black guy (who's name escapes me at this moment) was a riot. The kid deserves an oscar nomination also for being able to play that role without cracking up in his scenes with BBT. Solid movie.
  19. By the way.. an errie twist.. the murdered woman sold rat terriers via the internet - which is how the killer found her. I visited this woman's site when looking for our Abby (which is what the murderer named the baby ). This is Bobbie Jo Stinnett's website where she sold her dogs. http://www.happyhavenfarms.com/
  20. Not sure if this was posted already.. sad story indeed... The shocking case of Lisa Montgomery, who killed pregnant Bobbie Jo Stinnet with the object of cutting open her womb and stealing the baby, has to be one of the saddest and oddest cases I've heard of in weeks. It also has to be one that the defence attorney will use the insanity plea. Although there is ample proof of planning beforehand, and consciousness of guilt, its about the only option open to him/her. The fact that the alleged killer was pregnant earlier in the year and lost her baby, would appear to bolster that claim. With such mixed signals, the jury will have a tough time, or perhaps not. The insanity defence is a difficult call here in the US, many are unwilling to see someone "escape" with a plea of insanity, and to be safe, rather than give them psychiatric care, they get shunted off to jail. Personally I can see both sides. She planned and carried out the attack, and covered up the crime in a basic way, which implies sanity, but the whole crime, along with the possible issues arising from having lost her own pregnancy, point to a level of insanity. Either way, as long as she is kept away from the public, I have no problem whichever way it goes. Perhaps the most amazing aspect of this case, and the one ray of light, is that the baby is alive and well, and apparently unscathed by its traumatic birth. 21. $55.. but I know what you're saying. I have to admit though.. I've had a great time out there this year - and yes.. I was out there yesterday.. until half time anyway It's like going to Sox game after Sox game after Sox game all these years.. you just do it and make the best of it.
  22. It should.. at least something more than 12 hours in the drunk tank. If the punishment was a week or 10 days for the first offense - which hopefully doesn't result in a fatality.... people might think twice. I have an idiot Uncle who has 3 DUI's in his 30+ years of driving. Amazing to me he always talked about taking the "back roads" after drinking as to not get caught.. not once did I hear him say "can't drink, I'm driving tonight". He finally found some idiot woman to marry his sorry butt and they now have a child.. I haven't communicated with him in several years.. stemming from him putting another child's life at risk while driving - but I hope his wife is smart enough to keep him in line when drinking.

They told him this was their intention back in October.. glad they are working on it.
  24. Good Lord... If I was single... I'd probably be celibate. When did STD's become "no big deal"..
  25. It's the knowing he had it and still having unprotected sex with others that's not such a good thing.. Good grief.. 60%?!?! Ick.
