  1. Oh please Mike.. don't bother.
  2. Did he adopt a daughter...??
  3. Great time guys. This event is open to the public so if any of you have the opportunity to go, you should. My new wall candy.. the jersey Tom Seaver wore when pitching his 300th game on August 4th, 1985 signed by Tom... and the catcher who caught it... Carlton.
  4. Louis Tiant is there too!!! Eric Soderholm, also. And Sal Bando. Blue Moon Odom. Should be fun.
  5. Jim is paired up with Moose and they are playing against Carlton's team. Lucky bastard. I'll take some pictures and post them tomorrow.
  6. ROTFLMAO!!! I heard she still has a headache!
  7. No problem. We had a nice relaxing time before the game.
  8. In a perfect world, I agree with you. But FG is 27 years old. He's going to want some security. The Sox have zero history of long term deals with pitchers panning out. I can't see them deviating much from that format. Hopefully FG considers a 3 year deal for I doubt much more time than that will be offered. Just a feeling...
  9. I'll ask Fisk this afternoon if he'd mind coming back..
  10. Friday 127 was taken over. The row in front of us was all Cub fans but they were nice. A few loud mouths in 126, but not too many. Right behind us were Cub fans too, but they wandered most of the game. The closest Sox fans to us where 2 rows back. But the majority around us were Cub fans. No big deal since we really had no issues. I don't recall any "ha, ha we kicked your asses today".
  11. Woule be nice to see some more class out of that mess...
  12. No to BJ. He's a hot head. Tempermental. Very confrontational. And parties too much. Not a good example setter.
  13. Or are self employeed.. Today is the final round of golf and celeb shoot out up at the Grand Geneva. I'll be heading up there for the dinner tonight in a few hours, but among those up there are Carlton, Rollie Fingers, Randy Huntly, Goose Gossage, Minnie, Robin Yount, Kenny Sanders, Jimmy Wynn, Fergie Jenkins, and several others. The shootout starts at 1:30 I believe and is open to the public to watch. Afterwards the guys usually hang in the bar for an hour or so until the dinner that starts at 6pm. I'm not sure of where a lot of you live, but it's a fun afternoon if you've got the time to spare.
  14. My grandmother sold hers. 144 row 2, 4 seats. She sold them for $250 EACH. She sold them to Sox fans, but is sure that they sold them to others for more $$. She made $3K off the deal which is just over 1/4 of her TOTAL package for the year. You wouldn't do that..? Even for 1 of the games? To not have to deal with the idiot Cub fans? Last year we were offered $1K EACH for our All Star tickets. We didn't sell them.. but it was very tempting.
  15. I wish Arn was his agent. He's the best IMO.
  16. Scott's protege... not much better. Hopefully he's not as big of an ass as Boras is.
  17. Stub Hub. The worst invention ever as far as I'm concerned.
  18. Yea.. but what's the point of talking about it..? You'll just get told to STFU and stop being so negative..
  19. Minimum $70 per seat profit. Many did it.
  20. I agree. And yesterday also. Many of ST holders between the bases sold their tickets.
  21. It was last year so I assumed it still was.
