From the Sox ticket windows I have never paid more than face value of any games. And we've bought extra tickets every year of interleague play.

You got that right! But seriously... I find it humerous that every few days a post like this pops up. Good grief.. I've been complining about the Sox for a long time now. Is it useless? Yep. Does it make a difference? Nope. But does it make me feel better to vent my frustrations..? Sure does. So.. don't bother telling me how many games are in the season. I've got a big stack of season tickets to remind me. And if anyone doesn't want to hear me, or anyone else, b**** about this team, fire people, trade players, etc, etc.. then DON'T READ IT. It's really just that simple.

I'm going to give a little advice I got from my dear friend Brando Fan... If you don't like what's written.. don't read it.

We have a Gateway desktop and laptop (got the desktop first and was really impressed). But it's personal choice. I wanted more graphics and sound on the home one, and more speed on the laptop. They were able to hook me up on both. I'd say go to both stores and compare. The Gateway customer service was more personal, the Dell folks seemed to just want to sell me the computer and be done with me.

steff they do ask season ticket holders if they can buy the un used games... i have sold mine back on many occasions, for various reasons........what i was wondering in the article (they didnt say really) is did this broker wait in line like all the other flubbie faithful for tickets day of box office opening, because then it would be perfectly legal for him to do what hes doing or did the cubs just hand over the tickets to him (the broker) which i could then see a legal battle.....because i know that this year (being the first one i can remember in a long time) the sox put a limit on tickets you can purchase for big games ie. sox/cubs series.. to 4 tickets per person.....if the cubs didnt want the brokers to get lots of quality tickets then they should have done the same thing.....mho From what he told me.. they bought the tickets back that he was unable to use.. and they sold them to the broker. No attempt at selling to the fans at all.

I didn't read the entire thread so I don't know if this has been said... but they ask season ticket holders if they aren't going to use any tickets if they can buy them back, then they turn them over to these guys. My friend caught them twice last year selling his season seats on there.

I got Fox Sports Ohio one right now and the Sox game is on. I recorded it on the PVR as well and just got done watching it.

I thought only 20 year full season ticket holders were eligible for AllStar game tix ? who told ya that?????? from what i understood everyone except for the split 7 packages were eligable.... i got mine........ besides there arent too many 20 years left ya know........... A poster on this board that told me to read the fine print on all of the season tix packages (except Sox 7) but the fine print said AllStar tix but the poster said nothing was guaranteed unless you were a full season ticket holder. well as i understood it.. full season ticket holders get first crack....then it trickles down from there.. the only ones i thought had to put in for that lottery were the split 7's... at least thats what i heard when i called my guy and asked the last time we went through this debate on here.......so i guess it depends on who you talk to or what tickets you have .. or maybe how good you are to your mail man??? lol i dont know....all i know is mine cost a hellova lot more than cw's.......... Mine are a LOT more, too. A cool grand!
