Ozuna, Thornton extended.
QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Apr 1, 2007 -> 03:55 PM) If you don't like Ozuna, you suck...and I hate you. I'm fine with him when he's at his real position, but his lack of a batting eye and any defensive skills whatsoever in the outfield give me nightmares. I also love his hustle and heart, don't get me wrong.

Ozuna, Thornton extended.
QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Apr 1, 2007 -> 02:57 PM) love the Thornton signing, not a fan of Ozuna. A weak defensive player whose game is entirely dependent upon his average is just not a guy I'm a huge fan of.

NCAA Title Game
Florida looked really good today. I don't know if OSU can beat them if they played like they did today..

Falcons to trade QB Schaub to Texans
QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Mar 30, 2007 -> 04:20 PM) Carr on the other hand has been sacked, 76, 15, 49, 68, and 49 times. Every season but one he has fumbled 10+ times, and lost 5+ in each of those seasons. You can't honestly say with a straight face that all of those sacks were his fault. Look at his offensive line... what do you want him to do? Plus, when you get hit THAT much, of course you're going to fumble a few times. It's common logic. QUOTE(Soxbadger @ Mar 30, 2007 -> 04:20 PM) 1) Young is not the worst rated QB. True, he was third worst. Bruce Gradkowski and Andrew Walker were worse.

Sox vs. D-Backs, 3:05 CDT, 3/28/07
QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Mar 28, 2007 -> 03:26 PM) And he *is* off the bases now... Really? If you're out, you get off the bases? Since when?! Blaming a player for getting thrown out when there was a pitchout is just looking for a way to get pissed off at the player.

QUOTE(WHarris1 @ Mar 28, 2007 -> 03:24 PM) Pods caught stealing. Sit the f*** down. It *was* a pitchout, but yea...

Since there is so much discussion on it....
QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Mar 27, 2007 -> 12:30 PM) Out of all of those options I'm going to have to choose 0, but I don't like choosing zero. I'm choosing zero because I think it's somewhere between 25% and 0%, and given that number and the 3 available choices I'm forced to round down. Thats why I chose 50%. I don't think its 50% Ozzie, but I definitely don't think it's 0%.

MLB Gameday Audio
QUOTE(Kalapse @ Mar 26, 2007 -> 08:48 PM) How about you stop being a little b**** and pony up the $120 for MLB.tv like the rest of us TRUE fans. You sicken me. Considering the fact that $120 is a considerable amount of my current bank account, it wouldn't be a wise investment for me

MLB Gameday Audio
Since I'm off in college this year and don't have a job, I'm not going to be getting MLB.tv like I have in the past. Instead, I'm debating getting MLB Gameday Audio, since its much cheaper, and I actually get to pick what broadcasters I want to listen to. However, I don't know much about it. I know some people on here use it, what do you guys think about it? I'd rather not have to use Soxtalk or MLB.com for game updates, but if it's got bugs (constantly goes out, unavailable at times... whatever), I'd rather not buy it. So yea, any advice? (also, I wasn't quite sure which forum to put this in, here or the Diamond Club. If I'm wrong about placing it here, sorry in advance)

BUMPED::::::Toby Hall Possibly out for the season
Without reading any of this thread.... ouch.

How many Sox games are you planning on attending?
I don't have tickets for any yet, but I'll probably go to all, or most, of the games that are in Minnesota and maybe one or two elsewhere over the summer.

Haeger to AAA
Personally, I'm glad he was sent back down. I'm fine with knuckleballers in the starting rotations, but in the bullpen? I don't think my heart could handle that.

Your Final Four?
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 26, 2007 -> 10:48 AM) Hell no they didn't. I only got 3 of 4, and still control my own destiny in my 2 money pools and my pool with friends (who are not dumb). Almost everybody was a victim of either UNC, Texas A&M, Memphis, or Kansas (or in my case, Oregon and their ice cold 3 point shot yesterday). So in other words, give yourself more credit sir. http://www.nytimes.com/2007/03/26/sports/n...amp;oref=slogin

Your Final Four?
QUOTE(Felix @ Mar 12, 2007 -> 01:17 AM) Florida (I want to say no, but their path isn't too tough) UCLA Georgetown Ohio State *swish*

The West Bracket (San Jose)
QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 24, 2007 -> 09:57 PM) That's because it was the best league all year, but nobody would admit it since the games are played too late at night *rolls eyes*. Well hell, I want to go to sleep before midnight some nights

The West Bracket (San Jose)
Kansas loses, as predicted. I mean, really, how could anyone pick a Bill Self team to go to the final 4?
-
so... it looks like Danks?
QUOTE(CWSGuy406 @ Mar 24, 2007 -> 02:01 PM) Maybe the Sox should avoid EVER drafting a player from Stanford because Joe Borchard busted... I agree, screw Stanford

Danks wins White Sox fifth starter's job
QUOTE(Capn12 @ Mar 24, 2007 -> 07:14 PM) So much for Russell getting a say in the competition. Not that it means he shouldn't get a thought, but he did have a 4.75 ERA in Birmingham last year. QUOTE(LVSoxFan @ Mar 24, 2007 -> 07:16 PM) (from a guy who bought a Loaiza jersey two weeks before he was traded). I bought a Rowand jersey a few weeks before he was traded. Still wear it to games proudly though
