I'd be looking to deal Contreras. He's the oldest of the group, and still has a lot left on his contract (both years and dollars). Teams have seen his spurts of greatness throughout this year and last, so he will have a fair amount of value (although not as much as it could be due to his age/contract), and we should be able to get enough in return to improve the ballclub overall.

Great stuff for those of you into jazz, as are Dave Kings other bands such as 'Happy Apple' and 'Halloween, Alaska', although I haven't listened to 'Halloween, Alaska' yet. I'll be seeing any of them the next time they are in Minneapolis, which is pretty soon.

I'm really disappointed that only one of you got that this was sarcasm, and a joke referring to this thread since the last 2 lines were taken directly from it..

With his triple in the 9th inning, Ross Gload completed his 3/5 night, including a double and triple. Thats, like, a .600/.600/1.200 line if I calculated it correctly, making him FAR better than any other offensive player on this team. Maybe that's hindsight talking but that might have been the difference between being in the post-season and watching it. What if KW hadn't signed Paulie in the offseason and inserted Gload in the lineup ? Would we have made the playoffs ?
