  1. QUOTE(Brian @ Mar 6, 2006 -> 09:03 PM) Michigan will own all. If by "own all" you mean, lose in the first round, then yes, you are right
  2. Infield single for Pierzynski, loading the bases for Pablo. Chris Stewart pinch runs for Pierzynski. Now, I take my leave for work
  3. Dye gets the intentional unintentional walk, putting runners on first and second for Pierzynski with 2 outs.
  4. A double for Ross Gload with 2 outs in the 6th. Nice hit there.
  5. Pierzynski throws out Jamie Carrol to end the 5th inning.
  6. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Mar 6, 2006 -> 04:17 PM) Off of Hermanson? Politte (I'm watching on MLB.tv, it could be pretty delayed.)
  7. If the wind wasn't blowing in, the Rockies would have back to back homeruns
  8. QUOTE(Jordan4life_2006 @ Mar 6, 2006 -> 02:57 AM) Props to whoever Alenxander's agent is. 8 years for a guy that's already 30? He's not 30 though, he's 28.
  9. QUOTE(Felix @ Mar 5, 2006 -> 11:34 PM) I don't think they'll do much mainly because they have played so great in Minnesota, but then struggle elsewhere. QUOTE(Rex Hudler @ Mar 6, 2006 -> 12:15 AM) Not sure what the big discussion is all about. Minny is not playing at home. They have ZERO chance of winning this thing. Now can we please move on? ding ding ding!
  10. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Mar 5, 2006 -> 11:21 PM) Anyone check CBS lately? Are these the ones you are talking about? They are better than the ones they had been putting out before, but they still aren't all that impressive (I could very well be looking in the wrong place though)
  11. QUOTE(3E8 @ Mar 5, 2006 -> 11:47 PM) Pujols just doesn't stack up to Carl Crawford. I don't know if this is a joke or not, but either way, I'm laughing pretty hard over here.
  12. QUOTE(whitesoxfan101 @ Mar 5, 2006 -> 11:32 PM) They are such a wildcard. They could do just about anything in this tournament and I wouldn't be surprised. I don't think they'll do much mainly because they have played so great in Minnesota, but then struggle elsewhere. I do think they could beat Michigan, but I doubt they'd get past Iowa. They are pretty damned good at hockey though (I was watching them the other night for the first time, not much of a hockey fan, but it was pretty cool)
  13. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Mar 5, 2006 -> 11:28 PM) Kobe is one of the best ever (and yes I'm confident enough to say that despite the fact I hate him) I'll take Iverson over Kobe anyday of the week, and twice on weekends But yea, your post sums up what I think about Felix Hernandez and Albert Pujols.
  14. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Mar 5, 2006 -> 11:14 PM) Dotel, when healthy but he's not 100% yet. Myers can own lefties. Farnsworth is too much of a headcase to be consistent. Dotel won't be playing until what, August IIRC? And he's not that great. He had a few good years, but past that hasn't looked impressive at all. Er, not August, June it seems. Still..
  15. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Mar 5, 2006 -> 10:52 PM) 8 years is a b**** much lol... but its the NFL so prob cut him after 4-5 Sad, but true.
  16. QUOTE(Dam8610 @ Mar 5, 2006 -> 04:42 AM) Because of his unbelievable talent, and the fact that he's only 20, so you could get 2 decades or more of solid pitching from him. As for unproven, he did go 84 innings last year with a sub 3 ERA. Not bad for a 19 year old. Pujols is great, but we have a 1B and a DH, so unless you want to move him back to 3B, Felix is the better idea IMO. Miguel Cabrera runs a close second though. You realize that with Pujols, you get a player that could break every homerun record there is, right? You also get the best pure hitter in the game.
  17. QUOTE(ChWRoCk2 @ Mar 5, 2006 -> 09:30 PM) Good point Yankees will go to the playoffs no doubt and knowing steinbrenner if they have pitching problems hes willin to make a trade. You cant call them out now. I will call them out now. Their pitching sucks, and has for a few years now. They've known it, and haven't been able to do anything significant to improve it. Expect it to suck again.
  18. QUOTE(iWiN4PreP @ Mar 5, 2006 -> 08:56 PM) But there hitting is just... unbeliavable. What's unbeliavable? And if last year showed us anything, its pitching wins championships. There's a reason both Chicago and Houston were in the World Series.
  19. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Mar 4, 2006 -> 10:34 PM) HE GONE You know its sad when Heads bans you for hating on the Bears.. seriously.
  20. QUOTE(witesoxfan @ Mar 4, 2006 -> 02:10 AM) This is easily the worst news of the spring. seconded.
  21. QUOTE(santo=dorf @ Mar 5, 2006 -> 08:01 PM) Starters: Randy Johnson, Mike Mussina, Chacon, Pavano, and Wang. Bullpen: Rivera, Farnsworth, Wright, Myers, Villone, Small, Sturtze. I certainly think they have a good chance to get to the World Series this year. Look at the ages of just about all of those players. They will not be good enough to make it to the ALCS, let alone the World Series.
