This game is truly badass. The graphics are amazing, and the gamplay is by far the best that 2k sports has produced for baseball. Whats with the huge Sox logo in Center Field grass?? Does the Sodfather have something in store for us on opening day?? That would look awesome. Some random thoughts on the game: -In my 2nd game I hit a walk-off with AJ off Brad Lidge in the 10th inning. Can't get much more realistic than that. -Jenks is a pimp in this game. -Somebody else mentioned Paulie's habits in a previous post, seriously many people could easily mistake this for watching real baseball. Finally, that statement has never rang more true. They even have Uribe's fireplug stance down pat. Game itself: -hitting is a challenge, getting the timing down for each player will take some getting used to, but a great challenge. -great pitchers in this game are well, great. My first game against Sabathia last night, I could only muster 4 hits over 8 (Brian Anderson with 2 LOl) then decided to take on Jason Marquis it became a lot easier to determine balls and strikes, easier to hit. -baserunning is much much easier to manage -fielding animations and reactions are the best I've ever seen. Maybe move down outfield strength of arms a bit with the sliders, but this game truly excels defensively. -Overall a great baseball video game, this is what next gen baseball was supposed to be like. Its a game that I intend to show off to plenty of friends that don't play games much anymore or dont have a next gen console.

I'm hearing too easy to hit homeruns (ie MVP) True??? I'm hoping not, the one thing that sucked about MVP series, espeiclaly with the early installments... way too easy to hit HR's. Most versus games turned into a softball sock 'em game.

ESPN doesnt have anything up yet, I doubt we'll get anything concrete until the seeds are locked in for each conference. I'm sure ESPN will be slated to broadcast all the Big East tourney again, and most of the ACC and Big Ten tourneys

Interesting thoughts on JuJu Wright from Bill Simmons..... he seems to think he'd go as the 4th pick this year in the draft. Still don't see how everyone thinks Noah is a can't miss NBA player. He sucks and had a good run last year. period. During the Kansas-Oklahoma game, Julian Wright submitted the single best half I've seen from a college player this year -- the first half, when Kansas rolled to a 33-19 lead on the road because Wright was destroying the Sooners in every possible way. If you haven't seen him yet, he's a 6'8" forward who plays the way we always wanted Tim Thomas and Billy Owens to play -- in other words, he's a truly gifted passer, breaks a sweat on defense, makes 18-footers, crashes the boards, busts his butt filling the wing on fastbreaks and actually seems to give a crap. His passing separates him from everyone else -- during one play last night, he was isolated on the right side, waved one of his post players (I forget which one) over to the same side, then threw him a perfect entry bounce pass that enabled the guy to immediately spin around for an easy layup. I'm putting this sentence in caps to emphasize the significance here: COLLEGE PLAYERS DO NOT NORMALLY MAKE PLAYS LIKE THIS. Assuming he enters the NBA next season (nobody knows if he's coming out), he'd join Boris Diaw, LeBron and Tim Duncan as one of the best passing forwards in the league. He has a real chance to become a significant pro. Anyway, if the Celtics finish last and guarantee themselves a top-four pick, obviously it would be catastrophic to lose out on Oden or Durant … but Joakim Noah and Julian Wright are clearly 3A and 3B in this draft, which means the Celtics would be getting a blue-chipper at any of the top four spots. Small consolation, but still. (As for Brandan Wright, he bricked the game-tying free throws at Maryland in the final three seconds and looked terrified the entire time … these are the things I will remember when I'm ranking my top 10 draft prospects in four months. And yes, I have him ranked a distant fifth right now behind Durant, Oden, Noah and Wright.)

Looks like somebody over at 2k sports has a grudge against AJ. They are based out of San Fran I think LOl. At any rate, it looks like it should be easy to tweak AJ's rating, jsut moving strikeouts and plate discipline up to B/C and he shoudl instantly become an 83-85

With a loss at Iowa, I think they'll need to get 1 win in the tourney. Only 5 Big Ten teams get in, Illinois and Purdue will battel it out for that last bid. It may come down to who lasts longer at the United Center next week.

I'd be willing to bet that Hall's ratings are better than A.J. soley from defensive ratings...but I havent looked yet. Rowand at 88 seems to be a bit high though

I think this discussion soley depends on the player and agent

Maybe its just the anticipation building up, but I enjoy looking at ST pics much moreso than regualr game pics. Thanks for posting guys, keep up the great work!
