  1. I am a little confused about how things work for the post-season seating arrangements as well. I got my invoice in the mail today and here is how it broke down. My regular Double Play Plan seats are in 162- Row 5 My Post season seats: ALDS:514 Row12 ALCS:544 Row12 WS:548 Row 3 I knew I wouldn't get my usual seats, but I was hoping to at least be down low for these games. I'll still be keeping my DP seats for next year, but this seating for the post-season still has me a little disappointed. Ah well, it will be good just to be there when we get there.
  2. Javy owns these b****es....time to keep that streak alive. Oz needs to not start doing weird lineup things either...and BA needs to keep playing EVERY day.... Lets take game two.....
  3. Let's go Jon. Forget about what happened against the Yanks and use the Royals to get yourself back in line. After the intensity of this weekend's series, I hope to hell the team can keep themselves up and rolling. This should be a sweep and an improving of our position vs. Detroit even more.
  4. Brian NEEDS to be in the lineup..... Fat Freddy WILL find it tomorrow...he has no other choice.... Lets whip that ass with a belt, and I can drive home smiling!!!!
  5. Just woke up and getting ready to head down there... Will the real Mark Buehrle please stand up?!?! Last night was great, Jose was awesome.....lets follow suit today.... Lets beat the gamblers ass all over the ballpark today!
  6. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Aug 11, 2006 -> 02:11 AM) Verlander Vs the Sox this season: 2 GS (0-2) 8.2 IP, 14 H, 11 ER, 4 HR, 3 BB, 4 K | 11.42 ERA, 1.96 WHIP, .368 BAA Contreras Vs the Tigers this season: 3 GS (2-1) 22 IP, 19 H, 5 ER, 2 HR, 6 BB, 7 K | 2.05 ERA, 1.14 WHIP, .232 BAA The matchup is too damn perfect, this scares the piss out of me. I didn't realize it was that lopsided. I gotta say it scares me too..... Ah well.... Let's go Count, get your s*** back in line and lets take game one.....
  7. Keep it up big Jon... Time to put the hurtin' on the ugliest man in baseball....make him realize he is DONE...
  8. End this right and lets get back home!!! Count will be on the money today!!!
  9. Memo to Javy: Get past the goddamn 6th inning.... Win this game..... I will be pre-gaming my attempt to "waste away again in margaritaville"....don't stress me out before enjoying a night of cold Corona's and Jimmy.....
  10. Here's to beating the limping Jays, to smacking Doc around tonight, and to NO more retarded lineups!!! Win this series!!!
  11. gosh darn it.... I'm in....
  12. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Aug 1, 2006 -> 12:05 AM) Come back Mark! We miss you! Oh, and Mack better not F***ing start in CF tomorrow. ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ New month, home stretch, maybe Ozzie will get his head out of his ass and be done with the Mack in centerfield experiment. If he wants to use Mack in the OF, put him in left when Pods decides he is going to take a day off from trying.... Lets go, Marky Mark....time to wake up!!!
  13. QUOTE(Milkman delivers @ Jul 30, 2006 -> 08:08 PM) How about all of you guys start earning your paychecks at some point? Thanks, that'd be great. ^^^^^^^^^^^ Well said!!!!! There is NO reason we don't sweep this series. That being said, lets get this spiff started tonight.
  14. Hilarious, and ever so appropriate!!
  15. Tonight's Lineup Pods, LF; Iguchi, 2B; Thome, DH; PK, 1B; AJ, C; Crede, 3B; Gload, RF; Uribe, SS; Anderson, CF. Vazquez on the mound. Alomar here, MacDougal arriving during the game. Per Reiferts blog...
  16. I live in Mokena and have never had a problem watching them on MLB.tv. I have a wireless router and it assigns me a new IP that must not be blocked out. Watching them out on my deck has never been an issue all summer.
  17. QUOTE(CySox @ Jul 23, 2006 -> 05:41 PM) No, I always thought Rongey was an idiot. I personally can't stand him, and I think he is one of the worst pre/post game guys the sox have had. I wish we could bring back the guy from last year. His names escapes me right now... Brian Dolgin, I think....
  18. QUOTE(Felix @ Jul 23, 2006 -> 02:05 PM) Definitely. The manager who led the team to its first World Series title since 1917 should get removed for yelling at a pitcher who can't complete a simple order. I am sorry. This is NOT a get out of jail free card. Yes, he led us to it. Yes, we are all appreciative of what he did for the team to get them there... That being said, it does not give him the right to elevate his level of jack-ass-ness in terms of his managing. NO PLAYER should EVER have to go through what Tracey went through and what we saw him do to Garland today IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA and IN PUBLIC. If he wants to let them have it in the clubhouse one on one, fine. But this egomania has got to stop, because its wearing thin. I don't care if they make a lot of money and that they should just "follow orders." Put yourself in their shoes. If your boss yelled and made a fool out of you in front of the whole company and a bunch of people who happen to be standing around watching, how would you feel? His antics anymore are beyond unprofessional and it needs to stop. This whole schtick is getting very very old.
  19. Jonny has been our horse as of late!!! Let's knock that fat ass Padilla all over the place and break out of this offensive rut!!! NO POP-UPS!!!! GET THIS WIN!!!!
  20. I am done bringing my wife with me to games. She complained that we have the weekend season tickets and she never gets to go. So she has now been to four games and we are 1-3 in that stretch. She can sit her Cub fan ass at home from now on. On a side note, a brawl would be the WORST thing that could happen right now, as the last thing we need is players suspended and give Ozzie an excuse to start more bench players (especially the hopefully soon to be DFA'ed Chris Widger). He has yet to get the memo that this isn't tee-ball and not every kid on the team needs to get in the game.
  21. QUOTE(fathom @ Jul 22, 2006 -> 10:43 PM) That wasn't Pods fault...he should have never been up in that situation. ^^^^^^^^^^ I could not agree with you more. The move to bring him in, then, made no sense to me whatsoever. It was one of those moments where I think Guillen lost his mind.
  22. I just got back from this game and it was not a well played one.... After Jenks gave up that hit to Young the whole place fell completely silent and the mood deflated with the hit. Short of Freddy doing a pretty damn good job tonight, the offense was (once again) flat and the execution in key situations was poor. They let Koronka off the hook too many times, even with his pitch count soaring to christ. It should have been at least a 3-0 or 4-0 game early on, and it wasn't. I can safely say that they are playing lifeless, go-through-the-motions baseball right now and its not good. Too many things continue to go wrong and some of Ozzie's decisions continue to baffle everyone. I will continue to support, rally around, and otherwise cheer for this team. But I do not have a good feeling about any of where this is heading. Something needs to be done to right this ship and get clicking on all cylinders.
