  1. You could make a convincing argument that he has been one of our most valuable pitchers, especially if you take Giolito out of the list and just give him first.
  2. At the end of the day, Yolmer has gone from a starter to a deep utility guy. Stressing over him now isn't worth it. He wouldn't even be playing if Yoan could be past his injury problems.
  3. Uh, he doesn't really have much of a choice as long as he is on the roster.
  4. Correct. They moved the July 2 signing period until January 15, 2021. They can also move the one that starts July 2, 2021 to Jan 15, 2022.
  5. And it is only going to accelerate with all of the kids that just went back to school.
  6. Definltely a lot of guys I wanted to follow this year. 2021 is just going to be wild.
  7. Danny's OPS this year is down to .685. Yolmers career OPS is .656 Once you add their defense to the equation, they are not much different players.
  8. The Sox have already kind of done this with a lot of their players. Their top end guys break in slowly right after their draft year, especially on the pitching side.
  9. Preach it Tony. I mean sports shouldn't be a burden to start with. But if you aren't fully enjoying moments like this season has given us, you are 100% doing it wrong.
  10. Vera and one of Colas or Cespedes would be great additions towards keeping this ball rolling.
  11. Micker isn't much older than Luis Robert. Blake Rutherford is in between the two in age. They are all 3 23 years old. Gonzalez is about to hit 25. There is still some time for them.
  12. This is fun so far. I love all of the international talent hanging out there waiting for a breakout year.
  13. Yeah 3/55 is a gigantic over pay. I mean we might be talking half of that annually, and a year less.
  14. It is really impossible to know this yet. The biggest question is does it look like we will play 162 next year AND will there be fans there. Past that, what the Sox do in the playoffs also has a big influence.
  15. Vlad Guerrero comes to mind on the ability to swing at and hit just about anything.
  16. Way better? I don't know that I would go that far yet. It is early and the potential is there, but we are talking about... You have a HOF in Thome. A should have been HOF in Manny A borderline HOF in Omar A could have been HOF in Belle if his hip hadn't gave out. That still leaves you guys like Kenny Lofton, Richie Sexson, Sandy Alomar who were there for the core of that run. Plus the guys who came through for a year or two like Julio Franco, David Justice, Roberto Alomar
