  1. It is being reported that it is where he got it.
  2. Is he healthy? That would be the only thing stopping me. The arm is legit.
  3. His reads have been 5 star, on top of his natural tools. Many elite speed CFs use that speed to cover up mediocre reads, but I have yet to see him turning the wrong way or bending a route to adjust.
  4. Like I said I didn't see him a lot in the minors, but he could do a lot worse than following Abreus approach with runners on. Don't know if the approach is new, or even SSS, but he has impressed me so far.
  5. You know what, you are probably right. Unlike some who feel the need to bring things down by repeating the same mistakes over and over again, I will fix it.
  6. So the big negative on the scouting reports of Luis Robert was that he was easy to fool with off speed stuff and he had a poor approach at the plate. I barely saw him in the minors, but through 6 games his pitch recognition has been top notch, and he has crushed off speed stuff. He hss been mature beyond his years at the plate so far. He hasn't swung at much pitchers pitches, and he doesn't try too much at the plate. Robert has been lightyears past my expectations.
  7. And for the record that equals about 21 and a half games in a normal season.
  8. So do the Bears get their cap space back from Goldman? That would be nice at least.
  9. Exit velocities of 105 for YM and 108 for JA on those 2 outs.
  10. Having an uneven distribution of runs is normal. No team that averages 5 runs a game scores 5 runs every game.
  11. Literally half of one organization has covid and 2 teams aren't allowed to play right now.
  12. The person has to be coachable. It's not like Eloy cam through another organization 1st or anything. Contrast it with someone like Adam Engel who did just fine with the same coaching.
  13. Though to be fair, I would probably let Robert have the LF line to keep Eloy away from the stands.
  14. This is my hope. I knew there would be a lot of pitching problems coming into this season, hopefully this is one of those aches and pains things, and not the TJS failing.
  15. This is exactly what I was hoping to NOT see.
