It is there, it just never was going to be nearly as quick as a lot of people had convinced themselves. Two years ago there were people talking about this team being our next playoff team. I don't know why, but a lot of people convinced themselves of a lot of unrealistic things.

He has a big time uphill climb to make the team. I know he has had a big spring, but he hasn't really done anything impressive in the minors as of yet, and he is already 25. He has an outside chance at getting some ABs, but I would be moderately surprised if he was ever a decent part of the line up.

The fact that it IS a rebuild is why this shouldn't be a big surprise. If you look at where other teams were at the same time during their rebuilds, they were also losing a 100 games a season. Why is everyone surprised that this team is bad at this stage of a rebuild?
