The irony of this is that Banuelos is also not throwing as hard as he used to throw. The odds right now are that Banuelos breaks camp with team and Santana stays until April 10th when the Sox need a 5th starter for the 1st time.

Boy would it be great to get some breakouts from this crew.

Because Santana has proven himself as a #2 to #3 pitcher at the major leagues and that could have huge trade value at the deadline.

We still have a few months to let it play out, but Witt seems to be the highest ranking guy right now. We'll see if that lasts.
