Well, if you are going to lose a team, they picked a great year for it.

There is a pretty clear chance that we got screwed in the same way on the James Shields deal https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/barry-jackson/article222332785.html

Jose Fernandez was almost traded shortly before his death. https://www.miamiherald.com/sports/spt-columns-blogs/barry-jackson/article222332785.html

Unless he pitches like Carson Fulmer, the entire season.

The Sox finished with the 3rd worst record in baseball in the 2nd year of a rebuild. The Bulls currently sit with the 2nd worst record in basketball in the 2nd year of a rebuild. The Hawks currently sit with the 3rd worst point total in hockey, but have a couple of established stars around. Whose future would you rather have right now?

It was awful. It seemed like it was trying to go for the Chronicles of Narnia type of feel, and absolutely failed. It was recycled garbage.

The latest Fantastic Beasts movie was excellent, both as a standalone movie, and as a great bridge to the Harry Potter series.

The Hawks are currently 29th of 31 teams in points. They are 1 point ahead of STL but have 4 games in hand. They are 2 points ahead of LA with 1 game in hand.

Bingo. This front office is smart enough to have multiple if/then plans going on at the same time, and have just stated if it isn't right, they aren't going to force it.

If that were really going to stop Harper from signing with the Sox, he wouldn't be meeting with them.

Biggest highlight of the Hawks game so far is Pat Foley making a Blazing Saddles reference.

It really is a cool spot.

I didn't notice before that he burned his own source by leaving the name in the reply field. Ha!

Pretty sure debt payments are not included in the P/L #'s.

Hooray for Timmy!

They actually can't pay off their debt for a period of time because of tax reasons.

And most importantly, NOT bidding higher because they are the leader. It goes against everything he has ever done before.
