Wat? Ray had a career OPS of .788, with an OPS+ of 104. His first three years in the majors he put up OPS+ of 83, 95, and 91 in 1800ish PAs. Yoan Moncada is sitting at .735 and 102 OPS+ 600 PAs into his career and hasn't even scratched the surface of his potential yet. More accurately Ray Durham may be Yoan's FLOOR, and not his ceiling. Moncada's ceiling is somewhere more like Roberto Alomar or Robinson Cano.

Joey Bart is at a half season low A team Alec Bohm is at a half season low A team Johnathan India is in rookie ball That makes Madrigal at the highest level out of all of the top five picks, as he is playing at a full season low A team.

Out of all of the guys who might (realistically anyway) get dealt from the White Sox in the next two weeks, Soria might have the highest value. What kind of returns do people think we could get for him? Any names out there?

For example, trading for an OF at AA or below would be a waste, as they don't have enough spots to play the guys they have now, let alone another prospect. They need to target much more specific guys based on position and level. (for example LHPs or 3Bs)

At this stage they need to find guys who they can play. For once, they have to be choosy about position and level.

That's exactly what they have done. They haven't just dumped anyone as of yet. They have waited for return, if they get it, the player gets moved. If they don't get it, they stay.
