The era of one and done might be done via the NBA. https://deadspin.com/nba-developmental-league-to-offer-125-000-contracts-to-1829842591

Sadly that would be the best possible outcome for this season (the 2019 #1 pick, not necessarily Zion)

July 2, 2019.

100%. This is free money. Take it.

FWIW, Micker might be more of a June 1 addition.

None of this is actually known publicly.

Now that was an exciting read. I have been #TeamMicker since day 1, but I think Gonzalez will be the next OF (after Eloy) to make Chicago out of this bunch

White Sox baseball is the part that actually matters, at least to me.

Get out of the target fund and find an index fund to get into. You'll thank me in 40 years.

That's funny. You talk about appreciation yet hold a decades long grudge against your team. I love it when you destroy your own insecure arguments.

If you are saying you are a fan because of winning like you claim? Absolutely. Being a fan of a team is totally different than needing a team to provide something that you can't provide for yourself.

If you left it alone you already made back about half of it.

Nope, that would be insecure. Winning a great bonus, but if you really need winning to feel good about your fandom, you picked the wrong team.

Jas, I edited just to fix your spelling!

But did he have Indian heritage or a horseface?

Reading this he sounds a lot like AJ.

True, but we can still benefit from that competition, especially if the organization doesn't see themselves as having anything to spend the money on. Look for the next Frare/Burr/Vieira instead.

Doesn't mean there current be a late riser, or someone from Cuba come along they could target in this range. Or at worst, look to see what a team like Miami or Baltimore would be willing to give up for another half a million or so.

If they extend him, great. That solves a question and moves his window back.

Such as voting rights vs Warren's ancestors.

They should be either extending him or moving on. At the worst they should know that the odds of extending him are basically 100% If they don't that is a mistake. Play Davidson. Play Palka. Play anyone else. Use the ABs to evaluate and teach players who could be around.

Now you know how I feel reading repeated angry posts about a game. I really think some people build their egos around teams, and their insecurities come out and feelings get hurt when they lose that ego boost that they get from "winning ". Instead of being entertainment it becomes a substitute for things of substance.
