  1. The shin/tibia thing is also out there for him specifically.
  2. What an impressive standard. They are smarter than a message board. Wow. So impressive. Such a great contribution.
  3. Yet you are relying on the same underlying data. Weird how you justify it one way, but not the other. But yes, gaslight everyone for years who has been questioning underlying injury and diagnosing problems in both the Bulls and the White Sox, because it is much more than just this one dude. Tell Luol Deng he is just making it up. Please.
  4. Sure, but for whatever reason, the JR owned teams have gotten extra attention for this specific problem. At the very least the perception that his franchises have had this more often than others is out there.
  5. Can you tell us what the rest of sports clearance vs injury rate is? It is just as "moronic" if you don't have the stats to pretend it isn't, when there has been questioning in sports around these problems.
  6. I think he is secretly wishing that the the Reinsdorf teams weren't so often wrong for injury diagnosis's publicly for their own players, almost tragically in the case of Luol Deng.
  7. Back on track here... No new information. SURPRISE!
  8. Looking at the guys in our rotation, I will be shocked if a majority of them don't spend some time in AAA individually during the course of this season. There is so little experience, and not a ton of raw stuff in this group. The future is Schultz, Smith and hopefully Taylor if he can stay healthy through a season.
  9. And yet no one else has put Sean Burke on to the level of Garrett Crochet.
  10. Again, no one doubted the arm of Garrett Crochet. Sean Burke does not have that arm.
  11. I did not drag Crochet into this discussion as a comp for Burke.
  12. Crochet has always shown a top notch major league arm. He showed it over a period of years in the bullpen. The question wasn't how good he was, it was can he marathon instead of sprint. We know neither about Burke, and I have yet to see a single report of him being a future superstar. Even Law who sees him as really good, put two other White Sox pitchers ahead of him and didn't include him in his personal top 100. Solid to good? Sure. Garrett Crochet? Can we at least be realistic here?
  13. Ironic as you jumped in here like a flying monkey.
  14. Good luck man, I hope you are right, but a breakout star in his very first extended MLB experience? Yeah. Ok. I will pass on the Kool-aid.
  15. If you are telling me to expect Sean Burke to be Garrett Crochet, I can't even take you seriously.
  16. There is a difference between enjoying A baseball game, and this disaster.
  17. Garrett Crochet always had superstar stuff in his arm. That is not applicable to anyone else who is going to be on this major league roster as a pitcher to open this season.
  18. The Sox have gotten 1 guy in the last 25 drafts in the 3rd round who put up more than 5 total war in their entire MLB playing career. Hopefully he is more than our usual "dude" as only 8 of them put up more than a positive WAR in their major league career, with about half never making the majors at all.
  19. Welcome to the 2025 Chicago White Sox.
  20. I can't even get wound up about it to be honest. It's not like there is a Garrett Crochet in the bunch.
  21. If fans want to see the best players, 6 years and 140 games is more than 6 years
  22. One minute we don't have enough jobs for everyone, the next they are geniuses for bringing in these guys. That's wild
