  1. For where the White Sox are this year, they will have a ton of innings to fill. This isn't an awful idea.
  2. Nah, everything is new, better, and different now. All good!
  3. Yeah, this went so well with Tony, let's do it again! Oh no wait, everything is different and better now! The idea that people are failing because they don't yelled at enough is such a crazy flex that I just keep waiting for to die and go away.
  4. I wish we could fail even a fraction of this hard.
  5. Sure, I am sure in player development you don't work on the mental approach for game situations, or when you should bunt. I am sure the Player Dev people don't work with the teams coaching and management on game philosophy at all. All of these completely new hires doing completely new things is going to go great!
  6. Not to mention a dude who lead the world in sac bunting and giving intentional walks, completely counter to analyitcal baseball in 2024.
  7. And it seems really wild since we are literally trying to hire someone to run the Latin American scouting. So are we dealing a guy without our people knowing anything about him?
  8. Probably for any one specific trade like this, but then you do it enough and Tatis happens.
  9. Or he's wait for Chris Getz VI to create some new positions to fix everything.
  10. I would think so to, but here you are making excuses.
  11. The phrase is used when guys get physically stronger and add velocity. Hawk used to use it.
  12. This is the biggest thing to hope for this year.
  13. We did before the last rebuild too. Again, we've been here before.
  14. He logged 150 days, which I believe is short of a year
  15. He's also old enough that he could see a major age related decline during his control years.
  16. We failed last year completely. Offense. Defense. Pitching. Minor Leagues gave us nothing. We made terrible trades, and failed at churning the waiver wire. You don't lose 121 games because of a bad offense.
  17. Jerry is offering $13 million in renovations to someone else's ballpark when he won't pay anything towards his own.
  18. Because all of the same factors that made them previously failures are still in charge.
  19. Fajardo. Trading them for 30something relievers is Rick Hahnesque
  20. I disagree. This exactly the type of guys we should be adding, not subtracting. These are the guys that grow out of no where, or find an extra 2 inches on their fastball. Are the odds low? Sure. But they are also the ones who do the crazy leaps.
  21. Mark this down. I agree with Eddy.
  22. New titles isn't really impressive to me when the same people who caused the problems are still here. Even if someone now has that title, it wasn't like Don Cooper wasn't leading the organization in pitching before Katz got here. Honestly I wish I could blindly believe again. It was much nicer.
  23. That's it. Let it all out. Grrrrr. Poor guy.
