Hopefully they are doing the GM check already quietly to narrow candidates.

24-25 NFL Thread
The one stat that makes me wonder what Caleb's coaching looks like... He had that streak of 354 passes thrown without an interception. It really makes me wonder if he is coached to intentionally throw more non-competitive passes than he needs to, so yes the streak looks good, but that is mostly because he isn't trying to complete a lot of balls.

Keep improving that draft pick.

Way too early wins poll
I am stuck on which way to go on 49.5, but I would l put gregs houses I have won from him on under 63.

Way too early wins poll
With the discussion on the other thread, I am curious where Soxtalk actually falls on this topic. Over or under 49.5 wins?

Draft Kings sets Sox O/U at 49.5 wins
Not sure how IL works, but every Indiana casino has a sportsbook built into it.

Get those tickets NOW! (LOL)...
I was wondering when the "I am a better fan than you" crowd would show up to talk down to us mere heathens.

Get those tickets NOW! (LOL)...
Do they come with playoff ticket options? Asking for a friend.

Eloy Jimenez signs minor league deal with Tampa Bay
I would bet money that if the Sox would be the last team Eloy would sign a MiLB deal with after hearing his comments while with the Os

Colson Montgomery - How long until he proves he is a MLB shortstop?
Did Robin go like 0-43 in an early stretch in his call up? And baseball is notorious for guys getting called up hot, and then the game adjusting to them and those players never developing the skills and mentality to adjust back.

White Sox hire Phil Nevin as Special Assistant in Player Development
Oh man. Oh you got me so good. I think I will spend the rest of my life mad about it.

White Sox hire Phil Nevin as Special Assistant in Player Development
It's either that or stalk someone for years because they disagreed with me, right?

White Sox hire Phil Nevin as Special Assistant in Player Development
Well that's what we were told, but that job description sure reads otherwise.

White Sox hire Phil Nevin as Special Assistant in Player Development
We have been told this, but apparently with the Jan 15 period coming up, we don't have anyone running Latin American operations, despite firing Paddy months ago. https://www.soxon35th.com/white-sox-job-opportunity-international-scouting/

White Sox hire Phil Nevin as Special Assistant in Player Development
This feels like it should all be obvious, but because there are others who apparently don't see it, if all opinions aren't treated as valid and equal, there is mass chaos and breakdown.

White Sox Projected Rotations
There will also be plenty of injuries and DFA's. This staff is going to go through 25-30 pitchers by the end of the year.

White Sox hire Phil Nevin as Special Assistant in Player Development
Weird, I was just told that the way to get people to be better was to yell at them, and if it didn't work, they were soft.

White Sox Projected Rotations
We are going to go through a TON of pitchers again.

White Sox hire Phil Nevin as Special Assistant in Player Development
The front office is high is an interesting theory.

White Sox hire Phil Nevin as Special Assistant in Player Development
Yet here you are just as confidently talking about people who have opinions different than yours.

Colson Montgomery - How long until he proves he is a MLB shortstop?
One of the lessons of the last decade it would be nice if the White Sox would learn it would be to quit rushing guys as a make up for horrible player development.

Eloy Jimenez signs minor league deal with Tampa Bay
And very quickly wasn't wanted back for another year. And as to Eloy, hopefully getting him out of this toxic stew and into a well run organization brings his love of the game back. Baseball is so much better with a vintage Hi Mom Eloy. It would be nice if TB could figure out a way to keep him relatively healthy more than anything.

White Sox hire Phil Nevin as Special Assistant in Player Development
I see more of a failure of the front office to be held accountable, along with White Sox ownership. And saying you don't believe something, even with a plurality of evidence out there to support it, isn't a reflection of everyone else...
