  1. Which is more likely to happen with his way. He becomes more valuable as a starter, which he did this year. He's also done it without any injury. He left himself up to the Sox for the previous years, and we see where it got him. No extension, hurt, and a reliever.
  2. Diminish attendance? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA Jerry: CHALLENGE ACCEPTED!
  3. You might think so, but he obviously things different and he is the one with the billion dollar arm.
  4. I promise you when a guy goes from 50 to 140 innings in one year his arm is some degree of hurting pretty much all of the time. These guys have aches and soreness on a good day. No one would think less of him if it was too much because of the leap he just took.
  5. a pitcher who just tripled his max innings? My ArM hUrTs. Done.
  6. He quite literally said he didn't want to shutdown and start again
  7. Stone just said on the broadcast that "there isn't much that Yoan can do in the next two weeks to prove he belongs on this roster"
  8. I will offer this as a follow up exhibit. This is the MLB WAR rankings for all 1B with over 400 PAs. Offensively AV is #29. Defensively he is #30
  9. If Vaughn was a free agent would you pay $5 to $6 million for him?
  10. Moncada is not being traded. He has a $5 million buyout or a $25 million option for 2025. He's getting the $5 million to go away. He will be a free agent in like 6 weeks.
  11. Imagine being a media gatekeeper for Jerry, and then him still leaving you out of the biggest story surrounding the White Sox.
  12. Wait until next year when they are historically awful AND no one knows where to watch them.
  13. You seem surprised. I haven't watched this little baseball since the years post strike in the mid 90s.
  14. Even after the trades this continues to be an absurd construction. The payroll commitments for 25 are now a shade over $35 million. This franchise is sitting at around a $55 million payroll with Robert and Benny on the books, and dumping dead weight like Nicky and Vaughn. Even including them we are talking like $65 million. If they don't want him, cut him like any real MLB franchise would. They can easily set $25 million on fire just like they did last year and save Jerry plenty of his kids future inheritance, cutting payroll to under $100 million like a 3rd world MLB franchise.
  15. Sox have $35.3 million committed to 25
