  1. Thinking back a bit, I have now had a member of the sales department contact me I think 4 times (at least 3) in the last couple of weeks, wanting to talk about ticket sales and making themselves available for questions. Now contrast that with the dude at the top who has literally made himself available to answer to nothing. If Jerry won't talk to us, I sure as hell am not talking to anyone on his sales team.
  2. With the timing of this article who is left? Pretty much all that is around are Getz people, everyone else has been fired. Maybe if this come out a while ago, you blame the scouts, Marco, etc and then fire them anyway, but honestly who is left? We know Tony isn't going anywhere. Getz and his hires aren't going anywhere. They just slotted most of the MiLB and MLB game day staff, so that isn't going to happen. About all that didn't get hit is the communications people and board members.
  3. I bet the circle the wagons and pretend this never happened, just like they have for the last year. Maybe a few empty platitudes, mixed in with an eventual Jerry snide comment. I really wonder if they will have the stones to have Soxfest, and even more if they have a public facing Q&A type panel with some of these clowns answering questions in front of a crowd.
  4. Quite literally the owner of the worst record. EVER
  5. What's his career record as GM again?
  6. Which is really all that matters. If MLB is mocking them for it, they are obviously missing something here.
  7. It sure as hell explains how so many guys come here and have career worst years, BY FAR once they do. We are the 1950's Brooklyn Dodgers, while the rest of MLB is 70 years in the future from us.
  8. Weren't you just posting that no one would want to play here if other people found out they treated their players badly?
  9. Or they feel like the Sox endangered their own careers and want to speak out.
  10. Pham has never had a great rep anyway, which is why is a roster margin guy.
  11. yeah, I have definitely gotten a cycle of interactions from other fans. First laughter, then mockery, and now lately pity.
  12. If Rick Hahn wants to work in baseball, someone will hire him soon enough. Baseball is too incestual in it's hiring practices for someone not to take a chance on him at some point.
  13. And if he didn't like things, he could have left. He waited around to take a promotion when he was a huge star candidate around baseball. He turned down interviews with St Louis and The Mets IIRC at that point in time. He also could have quit at any time after and looked elsewhere. This isn't a Scientologist 1 billion year contract we are talking about here.
  14. It's the ultimate payback to the Orioles for going cheap.
  15. Nah. At some point you know what you sign up for and you co-sign to it.
  16. "But it's ok because Chris is different in some unspecified way."
  17. And again, we have gotten a ton of empty platitudes of how things are changing, and things are going to change, but no one ever seems to ask the follow question as to how. These guys all know the Sox historic weaknesses and never ask the next question about exactly how are they going to do something different or better here in this specific situation.
  18. So the players are too dumb to realize this? Because they sure seem to think so.
