If you want to play Workman at third (or SS)...that's the best place for Vargas.

He really hasn't played much second because of Meidroth Sosa and Baldwin.

And Vargas has fielded quite well on the corners, compared to up the middle, in general.

They easily could have done: Vargas 3B, Workman SS, Baldwin 2B and Sosa 1B (who has played there this year)

Is tonight the biggest game of the year? Given the White Sox starting pitcher 

I know this is in blue but yes. For the sanity of this forum, this is the most important game of the first half for us. I can't imagine the bellowing if he goes 6+ scoreless tonight

In the Sox 29 games the Sox have scored 4 runs once 5 runs once and have not yet scored 6 or 7 runs. I'll be an optimist and call for lucky # 7.
