Even for all of the Bannister talk, nothing has gone right outside of Crochet. You can argue Fedde, but you can just as easily say he fixed himself last year. Past that? Ew.
And sadly this is the closest thing to an internal success story that we have in the infield. We scouted and signed Sosa internationally. We fully developed him all by ourselves under Getz leadership. He is the best IF we have created in the since Tim Anderson.
Hiring from within a company is meaningless if the candidates are not qualified and had failed at their previous jobs which feed into their promotional job.
