It could be something like being able to simplify their offerings and minimize their through process in the bullpen. It could also be their stuff just plays up that much more when not having to think about going 100 pitches.
That seems like a reasonable framework of a deal. It would have been nice to pull one more lower level lottery ticket kind of guy, but that isn't awful. And honestly, if it is the leading deal at this point, you probably take it.
I mean that's what I see. If you are saying "he wants to win" as in it is above all else, then absolutely not. If you are saying it as a thing on his list, sure. But isn't at the top fo that list.
