Subtract out the 800k total for three minimum wage salaries for 1/3 of a year and we are talking like $3.5 million in savings, depending on what the cash part of the deal looks like.

I don't know why you think this isn't a rebuild, but when you have short term players on a team that is something like 50 games from playoff contention, they are assets you move. Period, end of story. Nobody wants this or likes this, but it is the path moving forward.
