  1. * on their own budget
  2. The Cardinals are on line 1...
  3. Someone pitching against someone else at some point in time.
  4. In his defense literally nothing has changed since Pedro was fired. It's almost like he wasn't the problem
  5. It will be really hard to be less than 40 wins bad again. Almost the entire team had career worst seasons. It would impressive to do it again.
  6. Like I said, you have drank the Kool-Aid. Enjoy.
  7. Today is the anniversary of The Joe Crede game.
  8. It is worth noting there are PLENTY of just recently fired people besides Hahn and Haber who could be sources for this article. Probably plenty wondering how if a dude who completely failed as his previous job was getting a promotion, why were they getting fired.
  9. Cool, so bench Moncada and be happy about it.
  10. In other words you accepted Ozzie's spin on everything. Thanks.
  11. Some people are just easy marks for a not so good con arist.
  12. This. They have a long history of taking highly rated hitters early in the draft and completely failing with them. Their draft and destruction process has ruined a long list of what were thought to be slam dunk major leaguers
  13. Sure. Chicago has a 125 year of hosting major league baseball at a dollar amount greater than anywhere else in the US that doen't have a team. California doesn't. If Chicago were to move, they would almost certainly take one of Nashville or Salt Lake City, removing them from the equation.
  14. Guessing it is more likely everyone else moved forward while the Sox stayed put. Much like the rest of the franchise.
  15. And that metro area is half of Chicago's. MLB is absolutely looking at market size when they consider where to place teams.
  16. We've been over this a million times. Even taking one third of the Chicago metro area as the Sox base leaves a bigger empty market place than pretty much anywhere else in the US without a team, especially if expansion of two teams is inevitable.
  17. And it is going to be like this for a long, long time.
  18. It's almost like we should have had real scouts looking at him instead of a soon to be fired assistant hitting coach.
  19. Ohtani put up more WAR in one game, than the entire White Sox offense has in the entire regular season (0.7 vs -6.0)
  20. Ozzie is out for Ozzie. The sooner people realize that, the easier it is to understand Ozzie..., Well it a metaphorical state, not in a verbal one. That is still not really possible.
  21. I have complete faith in the Sox draft and destruction process. It is amazing how many consensus first round hitter picks this franchise has buried. Literally haven't had one over perform since Tim Anderson.
