Is this due to the Marco Paddy change or greed?

CHSN to be available on antenna in Chicago
You don't think this is done like ever? Do you have any other example of this ever happening in this industry? Becuase I don't.

9/26 Sox vs. Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim 1:10PM - final home game
It is wild that the Sox best marketing campaign has been to suck like no one has ever sucked before.

OK, so literally all that matters is the games. Cool. I agree with that. Not sure what else is left to be more of a disaster then. These carriage agreements will eventually be done. Literally the same s%*# happened for the Yankees, Dodgers, Astros and others. They are going to have the same stooges as broadcasters. They already have cheap ass graphics, so there isn't much of a chance there. They are already have in house stooges running their pre and post, and odds are it will be the same teams doing it on the new network. Even if it isn't 10/1 but 10/5 or 10/15 these deals will be done. Once that is done, it will be the same old, same old.

Buster Olney and Jesse Rogers’s turn ripping the Sox
And we got so much better when Robert and Eloy got back.

Reinsdorf ran this last network and it was a disaster. What else is new? There is a complete absence of decent programming besides the games and game related materials. What am I missing here?

We will get there, I am sure. As bad as he is, a quiet hitpiece of his work ethic will happen soon enough.

Buster Olney and Jesse Rogers’s turn ripping the Sox
It's like saying "yes we would all be way better if we had real players playing these games" and that is why we failed, when we know that we weren't going to have those players anyway.

Another Latin player, another blame.

Faith? Like I am not taking up religion here. I am just going to tune in for a while and watch a game occasionally. I don't need Jesus, just a feed. And just like we have seen nationwide with these launches, the billionaires will fight over pennies, things will be delayed, and then it will get figured out and forgotten about. It's not a war crime.

Those two are probably related. A strip club mention reminded him of his favorite tool... his own.

Bleacher Report: White Sox expose MLB's not so secret crisis of bad ownership
Look the most analytical slave organization in baseball by all accounts is Houston. They have eight playoff appearances in a row to show for it. We have 120 losses by acting like the Brooklyn Dodgers. You tell me who is winning?

Hence it being "irrational"

9/25 Sox vs. California Angels 6:40PM - is today the day?
People want to see history. I remember being at a game in the mid 1980s where Dave Steib of the Blue Jays was pitching a no hitter against the Sox at Comiskey. As we got through the 7th and 8th innings, the fans slowly switched over and were cheering each strike and out against the Sox. We got to the 9th, no hitter in tact trailing 6-0, and Rudy Law hit a homer leading off. The fans first booed, and then finally got quiet. Bryan Little came up next and homered as well. There were a few boos, but mostly applause. Then Harold went deep, and the place was all back to Sox fans.

This is what a team that has quit looks like.

And just a genuinely good guy too. It's a damned shame.

Brand Loyalty
I was at a state wide convention earlier this week for other like board members. I ended up randomly sat next to someone at a social-business event who was previously a basketball coach in the town where I got my start in broadcasting. We spent hours talking about friends in common, games in common, and different memories and experiences. Sports is a way that even if you have never met a person you both own a set of shared experiences that can make you instant old friends.

Or that these guys have been hurt literally every single season so acting like this was a surprise is intellectually dishonest.

I wonder how much the Sox ratings have gone up the last two days?

Battle of the Broadcasters this weekend
Much like we saw with Hawk, Stone has been on a steady decline for a number of years now.

Considering the current state of the team and international operations? Signs point to no.

Normally that would excite me, but we will probably end up with the corpse of Robinson Cano or Lamarr Hoyt.
