  1. This is what you should have said last year dumbass.
  2. Look, there is no point in adding anything short term worth while to this team. They won't be good in the next 4 to 5 years anyway, so it would be pissed away. Fill out the roster, fill the innings, and that is all you need. This is the time to draft, develop, and make long term trades, not for a short term free agent. Add those guys when we are 40 games better and near .500.
  3. Hey, look who made the NY Times weekly news quiz!
  4. Bold of you to assume he breaks camp somewhere other than Charlotte.
  5. Yeah I wouldn't read too much into his stats as he spent a good chunk of the season pretty exhausted.
  6. You can see pretty much everything dropping in his advanced stats. His line drive percentage is down. His hard hit percentage is down. His top EV is down. His expected BA is down. His expected SLG is down. His hard contact rates are down, while his soft contact rates are down. He is generating a lot less power this year when he makes contact. This is all with his line drive percentage up this year.
  7. It would be just like the White Sox to do exactly that after not calling him up for September.
  8. And as we keep rushing players back from injury, we aren't seeming to actually give them proper rest and treatment, as these injuries keep happening.
  9. Well there you go. And despite articles in the last week that expressly named guys like Grandal and Hendriks, TA's name wasn't in them. And no one wants him because he has been awful for two years now.
  10. Soft tissue injuries never really go away.
  11. That isn't really evidence, except maybe the all-star locker room thing (of which we have no idea of what happened before or after, only a brief clip). Those are all reading your feelings into situations. Literally no one has actually come out and mentioned Tim Anderson as a problem, or even hinted at him. They have talked about a segregated clubhouse, and they have talked about a lack of direction from leadership.
  12. Which is being countered with... people's feelings. Awesome.
  13. Lots of injuries you might "recover" but never been 100% again. Repeat the injuries in the same places, and it is worse. Never let them fully heel, and repeat the injury and I can't imagine the damage you are doing longer term.
  14. And by the obvious improvement in the players that stuck around, he was obviously a big problem.
  15. I am beginning to wonder if the amount of leg injuries, and then playing on them, has actually nuked guys like Robert, TA, and Eloy.
  16. It has been fun to watch the wheel of blame spin these last two seasons, yet never arrive at the right place. Remember when Yas Grandal was the problem?
  17. Sox fans are now Mickey Mouse. Wonderful.
  18. And were supposedly 2nd on Vlady Jr.
  19. It had nothing to do with being the highest bids?
  20. That's like 29 other teams, can you be more specific?
  21. Neither of these are exclusive of each other.
  22. They have had instances of positive drug tests they dropped players for before.
  23. Thus began JR lying to fans by telling them what they want to hear instead of what he was going to do.
  24. No one actually wants this. Find a single post where this is actually said.
