How much is a guy like Fedde worth in a trade?
Finish the deal with a player like one of their young Latin signing SS's (such as Lirazano or Alymeda) and we are in business.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
The Twins could lose every single game for the rest of this season, and the Sox would not pass them if they kept winning at the same pace they have played at so far this season.

Cut the poor guy a break. Someone disagreed with him on the internet and he can't get over it.

The one that gets me is the slider has disappeared. I wonder if he gave it up because of injuries or what.

Yeah, I am sure you drag other people into every argument when you are perfectly happy. Makes total sense.

This is just a one day move. He's probably the one guy who lines up and is on the 40. It's nothing.

Not going to lie, saw it was Kopech, and put a Hamilton on the Twins at 12:1

GMs skeptical teams meet price for Robert
And even like the 10 low level MiLB guys listed, odds are incredibly high that none of them make the majors, let along turn into even a decent every day player.

The same thing I have been saying the entire time. The White Sox have not drafted and developed major league hitting at any real level at all.

I didn't even mention the 22 or 23 drafts. I do recall the 2021 draft being 20 rounds, plus any NDFAs, and not two rounds.

Yeah he had nothing working in the first, but here he is in line for a win.

Nice piece of hitting by Eloy there.

It's wild watching he and Crochet absolutely dominate and thinking how much worse this season could be going.

It is 100% accurate to claim that the White Sox have not drafted and development major league talent as of today, because it literally has not happened. You might think it could be happening, but it 100% has NOT HAPPENED. Period, end of story.

I will also note here is that I keep getting mocked for the idea that the Sox are YEARS away from being decent again, let alone contending. But we are talking about 4 full drafts that have happened since the 2019 changes being referenced here and we have exactly zero bats on the roster from the 2020 draft and onward. So as I get told how quickly things can change, yet we have no one here offensively from the last 4 drafts should tell you that this isn't a quick process, even with all of the amazing changes that have taken place. Even if a qualitative change actually took place we are four and three full years since those changes took place, and we have zero to show for it, so as we look to draft this year and projecting into the future, 4 full seasons means we shouldn't expect substance from this draft to show up in that same time period going the other way, because the drafts and development since 2020 have been so successful, right? That is the middle of 2028 to start getting these guys on to the roster, and probably longer for them to actually taste success at the major league level. Otherwise you have to start declaring that these changes haven't been a panacea for what is needed. It's either you are expecting too much from the current changes, or the changes we already made aren't paying off.

Hot Vaughn was a nice thing, but it seems to be fading fast. This is his July so far, before his 0-2 today. .208/.286/.417/.702

Path to .500 in 2025
The Sox will put up a payroll commiserate to their revenues. They just do so in an absolutely senseless way.

I am not going to say "things have changed" until things have actually changed more than someone's title. I remember saying at one point a long time ago, that a guy like Tim Anderson being drafted and developed was a sign the Sox were making gains in those areas, because I so wanted to manifest it into happening. I was 100% wrong, as it was a fluke, and not a trend. It is disingenuous to claim credit for something that hasn't actually happened yet.
