Check with your own bank about financing before you go in so you don't have to play that game at the dealership.

Blackhawks WIN!!!

God Damn was Huet amazing in that shootout. Too bad it took 11 rounds for a defenseman to end it. Nothing better than seeing Mason lose it afterwards after he kept taunting the Hawks bench when he would make a save.

QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Dec 1, 2009 -> 06:08 PM) Morel will be in Charlotte by mid-season. Viciedo is a future 1B/DH. I'd be curious to hear exactly how much of each player you have seen.

QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Dec 1, 2009 -> 08:50 PM) Agreed, I'm actually surprised that he hasn't been a little better than he has this season. For whatever reason he seems to get lost from time to time. Vince Vaughn is the new Jim Belushi. At least he is an upgrade. Sure, he is funny. Anyways, now is the time for that talent of the Hawks to come to the front. Win this game in regulation, and don't give Columbus a point.

Shorthanded goal by Kris Versteeg

QUOTE (MurcieOne @ Dec 1, 2009 -> 07:32 PM) Steeger just made my jaw drop... looked like a double toe drag there, lol amazing!!!! That was f***ing incredible. Wow. He just left two defenders, plus a goalie. Someone needs to get them a GPS, because they got LOST.

Ooo La La.

What an idiot! Way to pay attention.

Just a minute, you didn't say anything good had to come from it!

Hump legs recklessly.

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Dec 1, 2009 -> 12:24 PM) When do we find out how much, the arbitration eligible players on the Sox roster, are going to make next year? When they agree to a contract prior to the process. The Sox never go to arbitration with their own players. Honestly I couldn't even tell you the last time that it actually happened.

This essentially confirms what many of us have known for years. The regulating bodies of the government are really good at predicting the past, the future, not so much. http://online.wsj.com/article/SB1000142405...3520372002.html

The only way we offer arbit is if we can get one, or both, of these guys to agree to reject it so that we can protect picks, which we would receive back. As bad as the market was for the questionable type A free agents last year, I can't see the guys hanging an extra noose around their neck just to help out the Sox.

QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Dec 1, 2009 -> 10:14 AM) Though he may not see the bigs in 2010, check out Sox prospect Brent Morel. He just lead the AFL in hitting and is a plus defender at 3B. His potential is reason enough not to resign Crede. Morel shouldn't factor in to Joe Crede getting what would essentially be an invite to spring training. The minor league contract part of that is an informality, as most of the time guys like that have a clause written in where if they aren't going to make the major league team, they are to be released so that they have the chance to catch on somewhere else if they want. Crede wouldn't be going to Charlotte.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Dec 1, 2009 -> 07:43 AM) Hawks finally back home...lines are getting shuffled tonight. Sharp is moving up with Hossa and Toews. Kane is moving to the line with Versteeg and Big Buffs... I hate taking him away from the best finshers on the team in Hossa, Toews, and Sharp. Steeg is solid, but with the year Kane is having, I'd be tempted to move Toews.

Happy Birthday big Z!

Honestly, I can't see the Bears not being the biggest thing in this town for the forseeable future.
