  1. Step 1 is to find a real PG. I don't think they are willing to go into rebuild mode, so that seems like the next best move. It worked with Ball, so you find another guy who can do that.
  2. I have been to like three games in my lifetime that hit that level. The Blackout game Game two of the ALCS 2005, aka the AJ dropped third strike game and this one.
  3. I think Cohen's big mouth ruined that idea. Sounds like Correa has a pretty clear grievence if Cohen doesn't come through.
  4. Until told otherwise, I continue to believe that something big happened which caused the need for him to be gone immediately. Too much stuff happened too quickly that didn't make sense put together. Obviously the Sox don't care who they hire at the same time, but hopefully the full story leaks out one day.
  5. Oh there are worse, but dumber is a different story. Look the A's get their place in the world, and are doing what they can to make it work. The Pirates are cheapest organization in pro sports. The Orioles are a one man disaster. But none of them decided to put a guy like Tony in charge when they were trying to get to a World Series.
  6. If the last 30 years have taught us anything, it is that just because an area has a population, doesn't make it a good place for a pro sports franchise.
  7. I mean this totally could be part of the exit strategy to get him to leave. Put him in some BS ambassador type of position so that he feels like he is still doing something. But what other organization let's this get to this point? s%*# Denvers football team just fired a 1st year coach because it wasn't working and they were being embarassed. The Sox? Nah, come on back and make us look dumb again.
  8. Or maybe, just maybe, the organization should be less blatantly stupid.
  9. If someone tells you something you don't agree with you immediately quit your job.
  10. Without a PG to make it work, they don't seem to work well together. It is amazing to see the difference post Ball.
  11. Unless something has changed in recent years SIDS is a very young baby thing primarily. I want to say by six months the odds have dropped off a ton.
  12. The latest in a proud tradition of trade trolls.
  13. Everytime you think that this team was playing a step behind last year, you read something else and learn they were also playing with two hands tied behind their back. In a history full of questionable moves, the TLR hire continues to justify itself as the worst of the White Sox JR era, second to only to driving MJ off in the worst of either of his franchises.
  14. Eh. Not for me. I never once thought of Mark Buehrle as one of the greatest of his era.
  15. And the Sox don't mind guys who come pre-injured.
  16. There shouldn't be a Bears fan alive who wants to see the Bears win this game.
  17. Like I said in that thread, unless a guy is bascially Bobby Jenks as a sure fire lockdown closer, that just doesn't make sense.
