Yeah I guess I am, but the sad thing is that I had been one of Maggs biggest fans up until this injury. Just like Sammy it looks like he made a nice career out of smiling and waving to the camera, while being a complete different person in reality. His true colors have come out during this last year for sure.

No offense to anyone's listening habits, but I never have understood why anyone has to listen to talking heads for anything. People like North, Mariotti, heck Rush, O'Reilly etc, are completely full of s***. They write or say whatever will get them ratings. They don't care about what they talk about, they only care about money. And people paying attention to them, just furthers their cause. Don't listen to them, don't read them, don't buy their papers. If the public actually were to demand intelligence for their media by their actions, and not just their words, we might actually get some integretity in the media, instead of complete garbage.

Just think of it as an income readjustment...

The Astros are the only ones with a shot, but I don't think it will happen. Houston has their best two pitchers going in Clemens and Oswalt for games 3 & 4. Boston's aces both lost in the first two games, now they have their 3rd and 4th best pitchers going. The Red Sox will be lucky not to get swept.

I think people believe the mention of someone's children is a cheap shot.

And they do still have Koch's and Valentins $11 million left to spend which has not been spent on anyone else yet.

Even went as far as to say that he was practicing again and was working out, when in fact he had just had surgery only days before. He said he his knee was healing just fine. He called KW a liar for saying that his knee wasn't healing. We all know how that turned out.

I think the personal level question of it is the problem. If GW had stood up and questioned Teresa Heinz hiring Ken Lay to run her late husbands charity, would that have been too appropriate if ethics had come up? Why make it a personal issue in the first place? Unless Dick Cheney brought up his daughter, or was parading her around on the campaign trail I don't see her being fair game. Leave the kids, wives etc out of it, unless the campaign makes them fair game.

With the way Maggs has acted in the last year, I am happy he will be gone. We don't need a liar and a cheat on this team. Maybe him and Sammy can team up in NY or something...
