When that can of worms gets opened, it doesn't surprise me that people fire back. Hate gets spewed plenty by the people on both sides of the fence. No one side is exclusive to any of this. I have seen hateful things said to and about people while debating just about every topic under the sun. It isn't exclusive to the politics stuff either. Look at the ignorance that has been spewed over the last few days on the mainboard. That has nothing to do with the election at all, and yet it still happens. It is an endictment of peoples maturity, not of their political affliliation. I think people should look past the topics debated, and see that it is a bigger problem than being republican or democrat or whatever. I believe you are totally misreading Gleason's statement about Eminem. I think he can't understand your respect of a woman who wants to censor one of your favorite artists. He made an obvious exaggeration about sending him to Siberia, and I don't quite see how you couldn't read it as such. Tipper Gore made numerous attemps and a big public campaign to have groups like Two Live Crew and Anthrax pulled from the shelf, and Em would certianly fall in the range of her censorship targets. Exactly. Totally different people own and operate the minor league franchises. The Indy Indians would enter into an agreement with the Chicago White Sox, who would then send players to Indianapolis. Usually they also pay for things like their equiptment and whatever else they can worm out of a team in the argreement. So yeah the jerseys and town would be different, but the players in them would be the same.

I think you have a little mix up there... Charlotte would still be the KNights, and Indy would still be the Indians. What would change is that the Sox would send their AAA players to Indy instead of Charlotte.
