All that last line of the letter does is make you instantly lose credibilty. It puts the reader on the defensive, and you on the attack. If you want to open a dialogue with the team about issues, this isn't the way to do it. I would almost bet that you recieve no response from the organization. And definately don't lend Soxtalk's name to stuff. It isn't your name to give. Even as an administrator to the site, I ask Jason and company if they mind if I mention the site. It shows a lack of respect for the people who actually do own and operate this site.

Damn I have had so many.... Got a technical foul in Jr High for hitting a ref in the back of the head with a basketball. Sprained my foot by tripping over a hurdle-while making fun of the hurdlers. At least I redeemed myself by learning how to run the hurdles and ending up finishing 3rd at confrence. Trying to stop a swing during a softball tourney and losing the bat, which flew and hit the ump in the shins. I am sure there are plenty of others...

And the really sad thing is at least MLB provides a support structure for these kids. They have a minor league system taylor made for these 18-22 year olds. I can't imagine how the NBA and NFL kids don't end up more screwed up than they already do...

Yeah, I am looking for homestates. And to DBAHO, you just got me thinking, and I have to add Alabama for sure, and most likely the Carolina's Virgina/Tennessee, because of having White Sox farms teams there, and knowing that we have people who post from those towns.

I was thinking about it, and we have a pretty broad representation on here. These are the states I know we have covered... Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Texas, Kentucky, Florida, California, Oregon, New York, New Jersey, North Dakota, Montana, Iowa, Pennsylvania, and Kansas. That makes 16 states covered at least. I know there has to be a cheesehead out there somewhere, and also places like Missouri and Ohio are close enough that we probably have someone. Also for posters, I know we have Canada, Austrailia, Puerto Rico, Venezuela, and Brazil covered. My question is what places am I missing? If you are from somewhere not listed above, please post it, I am curious. Edited for add ons-Alabama, South Carolina, Massachusetts, Tennessee, North Carolina, Nevada.

The guy has always been hugely self-centered, and people don't like that. The last line of your statement about wanting to play the field dispite the fact that it hurts him, saids it all. If he is will to keep playing the field dispite the fact that he ends up on the DL because of it, means he hurts his teams for his own personal feelings.
