What if he was a member of the Polish military that was in Iraq, would you have asked the samething? No way. That is racism. It is no different than calling people terrorists because they are at a funeral. And to me that you did this, and don't see it as wrong says that you have racism in your heart. And to me that is sad.

It was a miserable day in Chicago. It was in the mid 40's foggy and rainy all day long. The only people who went, were people who already had tickets.

(go back and read my threads on Africa and specifically Rwanda and Sudan) But in my eyes racism is wrong, whether it is a Klan rally, a concentration camp, Hutu genocide, women as second class citizens, or a Brazilian calling all American soldiers war criminals.

Really I see a lot similarities between Russ Branyon and Jeff Leifer. I think if Jeff played everyday he would hit about .240 and hit 30 HRs. I don't think he would ever hit for much average, but a ton of power.

So do I. What happened was a horrible discusting thing. If the US is going to have a death penalty, these are people who need it used against them. That being said, when you sterotype a group of people based on the actions of a small group, THAT to me is the very definition of racism. Think about it. Just because some Brazilians are involved in paramilitary activity to support their drug empire, does that mean the whole nation is a bunch of Scarface's? No way. Just because Nuke is a military man, doesn't mean he tortures Iraqis. That is incredibly racist in my eyes. Love the guy, or hate everything he has said, that doesn't matter. Racism is racism.

I was at that game. I remember being soooo pissed that they let Colon face Bonds a 4th time. And then he hit the longest HR I have EVER seen at that park. And that is including Frank's concourse shot. Barry hit it over 500 feet easy. He got gyped on the measurement.

How could they NOT say he was guilty of one of the manslaughters? At worst he was screwing around and shot the guy. isn't that the very definition of involuntary manslaughter?
