So if it is in the scouting reports, the coaches are telling them how to attack and the hitters aren't doing it, it is on the coaches. I mean sure.

They did on the radio.

They look like a team that is really tight to me. Trying to make plays they shouldn't make. Blowing plays they normally make. Frustration and bad body language at the plate and in the field. They are mentally toast right now. I don't really miss the Ozzie Guillen era, but he was the best I have ever seen at taking attention away from players when things were going badly.

Right. The guy who Alabama paid huge money for to get from Michigan State, and is making $9.5 million a year needs to be talking about the influence of money in college football. GMAFB.

I wonder if he actually listened to his coaches, unlike last year.

It is wild how much each of these guys has regressed defensively this year. Even Engel is putting up some pretty impressively bad D numbers so far.
