My wife was in the room, while I was in line for an autograph at Soxfest last year. She called me, and told me that the Shuttle has disappeared upon reentry, and they had no idea what happened. Then I heard about the explosion over north Texas and knew the worst had happened. I almost left the fest on the spot.

Sad week in history for NASA. Tuesday was the 37th anniversary of the Apollo Pad fire which killed 3 astronauts. Today is the 18th anniversary of the Space Shuttle Challenger explosion, and Sunday is the 1st anniversary of the Space Shuttle Columbia disintagrating upon reentry. In conjuction with the Columbias first anniversary, one of the newly promoted NASA higher ups has wrote an incredible letter taking credit for the disaster. They have a preset amount of individual and weekend passes, each. So theoretically you could buy the weekend pass to go to Saturday, it would just cost you $40 to do, instead of just the $20 it should have.

In my 12 team league I am sitting on a tough trade prop and I am curious what other people think. Someone offered me Datsyuk for Chris Osgood. The problem is it leaves me with Biron and Vokoun as my goalies. Is is worth it?

Angie makes a bunch more than I do. To me it doesn't matter. If that bothers someone they have real self-esteem issues that go way deeper than that issue.

I guess it just amazes me the homophobia that exsists in some areas. Why are professional athletes so above society that they don't have to accept homosexual behavior? And really in the game of baseball what difference does it make? How is this type of behavior any different than anti-semitism, or anti-black, or anti-anything else that people have had their careers ruined over. Leave the kid alone.

What is it with this whole Super Bowl Sunday thing? The game doesn't start until like 6 or 6:30, and Soxfest has been over for 3 or 4 hours by then. Unless you are starting your party at like noon, and going to about midnight, there is plenty of time for both.
