That is the whole point. IT DOES NOT MATTER IF ALOU CAN CATCH THE BALL. If the ball is over the top of that wall it is considered out of play and it is fair play for anyone. Was the ball over that wall, or was it in play?????

I don't know if anyone has brought this up yet, but does anyone think that those extra 40-50 pitches Prior threw to get through the blowout that was game 3 came into play tonight? I was only half watching but he didn't look like he was hitting his spots nearly as well.

OK guys give me some perspective on this play. Was the ball going to hit on top of that wall or railing? I haven't seen the replay on TV but in the pictures it looks like Alous mitt was over that wall, if so that play is NOT fan interference, no matter if Alou could catch the ball or not. That is considered no mans land right there, and it is anybody's ball.
