Before Wells back went out he did pitch for us, and led the team. He tutored Buehrle who still credits him and others. He offered here first, and would've signed an incentive contract the same or less than the Yankees gave him. David Wells may be a tool, but he made the effort for us as long as he could. Made an effort to unjustly kick his teammates while they were down too...
