  1. This is exactly how I feel. The whole world leaves him alone if he saids he wants to see his dad.
  2. This is getting so stupid. The all star game is pointless, and that is exactly what the players, coaches and management treat it like.
  3. Heck if Dusty Baker can profess to be an expert of the physiology and the affects of temperature on the races, and Sean Penn and company be political expercts, why can't Limbaugh be a sports analyist?
  4. http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/gen/wire?...sageId=17249254 Jason Schmitt will start for the NL. Darn I was hoping to see Wood start against ELo for an all Chicago all star game.
  5. and we got him for a minor league contract with an option for $500,000 for this year. You know there are 29 other GM's kicking themselves for that one.
  6. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if Sanders were broke.
  7. This is the hat. Good ol Ebay, you can find anything on there. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...&category=24649
  8. Awesome, nice to see those 1-0, 2-1 losses didn't end up screwing him over!
  9. sweet, look at me sneaking into third place Look out up top!
  10. The throwback uni is obvious...but why don't they have throwback hats to go with them? Looks kinda silly, heh. They did have throw back hats. It is a printed S-O-X in white, surrounded by red print. It is the 1953 design. That pic doesn't show it very well, but trust me I watched the game and saw the hats. Uh, unless I'm blind, that hat that Damaso is wearing is black and it has the current Sox logo. Maybe that picture isn't from yesterday's game? It is block letters instead of the script that is on the hat we use now, plus if you look really closely you can see the red tint around the letters. It is just a bad angle to see.

  12. ill watch... and no i cant recall more than one design cut in the grass at a time......well not since the last time we hosted the all star game.... My understanding is that Roger Bossard never varies his design cut like other teams do. So anything is different from the normal striping. true, he does not vary the cut in the grass.....im sure hes having a b**** fit right about now... .. hes very protective of his field and particular about how it looks........ I'm sure he knew that MLB would provide a design for him, so he has prepped himself for it. I do know that he is very good. Just kinda vanilla compared to some of the newer groundskeepers these days. Farmer and Rooney said it was the first time ever that he has done something different.
  13. Really there are only two choices IMO, Koch or Konerko.
  14. And once again remember with Borchard remember this is only his SECOND FULL YEAR OF HIS LIFE playing baseball. He has a lot to learn, and it isn't going to happen over night.
  15. Maybe that is what we need to start telling the players. It seems like the only time they show up is against good teams...
  16. Trust me if you keep reading the kids posts your brain will rot.
  17. They had a grey blue tint to them with dark blue lettering.
  18. Diaz is 3-7 now? Doesn't sound like he is in line for a trip up here. But once again Joe Borch with two hits. Hopefully this is a good sign! We'll need this kid next year!
  19. at 92, isn't it down from where he normals throw at, 94-96 I have always heard he was right about 90 give or take a couple of mph. That is why his K numbers are so impressive. he is a pitcher not a thrower.
