The key stat being this one RISP Lee .350 12 HR 75 RBI Thomas .255 8 HR 44 RBI And this is with Lee hitting in the 2 spot for a lot of games this year! But that is exactly why Thomas's HR/RBI ratio is about 2.4 and Carlos's is 3.6! Don't tell me what you hit, tell me when you hit it!

Because Frank has the best glory numbers out of all of the first place teams, big named players. There are no media darlings who have better numbers on the good teams. This year each canditiate has some big hole, and if the Sox win the division he is as good of a canditiate as anyone else. The things holding him back are his low RBI to HR's and low BA.

IMO I answered many of his points in the way he wrote his article (intentionally) and then basically in the 3rd he admits that his whole style of using stats and history as a basis for his articles, is wrong when I do it. The tone which he takes is condesending for someone who bascially used the exact same techniques to justify his arguements, yet blows these same techniques off, when applied to him. It doesn't do much for his intergrity IMO.

pretty much, lol the trolls have calmed down a lot tho. TBC is making his first appearance in a while and believe it or not Blanksy's appearances lately have been few and far between I believe it. We are winning! Why would blanks be hanging around. Wait til our season is almost over, then he will be back. Unless of course we win the WS, and then he will be telling us how we are doomed next year And I owe TBC a tweeking anyway. Mr Attendace is due a plate full of crow as his Indians attendance is less than the Sox, and down 50% over two years. That asshole laughed at me when I told him that Cleveland was a bunch of bandwagon fans. now I have my proof. so you really havent even been stopping by occasionally just to check? So except for the fact that me and PA aren't there to join in, nothing has changed And BTW, I remember Thomas's HR off of Johan. It was a bomb this year in the Dome, that was the first ER that Santana gave up all year.

Small ball is what won us the first game of the series, and got us our first 3 runs yesterday. We have done a much better job of it lately, but we are also still pounding the ball which doesn't hurt either.
