OK once again sorry about the 2 days worth of winners but I had baseball and tailgating to take care of. Anyways Saturday had a bunch of high scores, but the winner was Carlos Lee with 8 points, Rowand and Maggs had 7 points, and Valentin had 6 points. Saturdays winners were Mathew, Juggernaut, and whitesox247. Sunday was led by the resurgent Aaron Rowand and his 8 points was the PTC winner. Only one gutsy pick to go with Rowand was whitesox247. Congrats to all!

last I heard they were going to send Kelly out for Rehab before he comes back.

We need more guys to step up out of the pen, if they don't we are going to fry Marte, Gordon, and Koch's arms.

Well tonight will be a good indicator. Cy Mays goes tonight. Has he been figured out or will he go back to Cy form? It is half price night so I hope to see 30K out there tonight and they give it to Mays and the Twins the same way that they did Scammy.

Dude hawk says everyone the sox bring up is the next coming..........TOTALLY ignore what he says. I have to disagree with you there. Hawk always tries to find SOMETHING good to say about every young player we have, but that's what he's paid to do dude. What's he going to say? "This kid shouldn't be in the majors, what is this team doing?"? He'd be fired if he did that. You can tell when a player has a legit chance and when Hawk is just trying to fill air-time if you listen to enough games. Listen to Rooney and Farmer. If you don't hear them saying good things about a player, you know they don't think he will be any good.

I still believe that the off season shoulder surgery wasn't completely healed. The difference is night and day between now and April.

Royce Ring gives up another run. Isn't that something like 3 straight outings?

There have been a lot of rumors flying around and all of them have us adding players... sounds reasonable to me.

With his stuff do you think that will change as he hits the majors? Will more players start to put his pitches into play, sort of like Buehrle.

Let's hope you're right on this one...in my defense, he's been atrocious this season both in ERA/WHIP and Inherited Runers Scored... If he ever gains what he lost, it will be grea- he is a workhorse against whom hitters at times had no chance , in his first 8 innings with the Sox back in 01, he gave up like 1 hit, lol The guy just isn't going to be able to stay sharp as little as he has pitched. period.

The difference was that you could tell Carlos was always trying, and it upset him when he did something wrong. He went back and worked on improving.

We don't need a whiny baby like Weaver. Jon Garland is just as talented if not more, and is only 23 I believe. Danny Wright is also younger than Weaver. Weaver would be a cancer in our clubhouse, we don't need to waste money on a cancer. Weaver is the equivilant to Jimenez in the clubhouse. The stories have always followed him. Plus he isn't mentally tough, it isn't too hard to get into his head.

Has he ever disiplined Sammy or Zambrano for acting like fools when they do something good? Nuff said. :fyou Baker

Jerry has said the last two outing that Colon is on a limited pitch count of about 100.

One of the problems with this team is we have almost all fastball hitting guys. If our team could hit junkballers a little better, we would be in a lot better shape. The record of Kerry Wood isn't a surprise at all.

IT was not good to see one of the Sox teammates agree with Ryan Klesko... But not a surprise either.

I don't know about anyone else, but I like the D with Willie at 2B and Aaron in CF. I think is the best combo we have.

In Jimenez's own words he loves to hit. The offense isn't really his problem. If he could stay awake at 2B, I wouldn't have a complaint about him.

So he won the battle and we won the war. At least Cub fans can still sleep tonight.

Dude first of all figure out your arguement. One post the guy has a career .265 ba in your first post, .264 in your second post, your third post you leave out 2003 and get .229 ba, then you say he is a .233 career average. Do you even have any idea what you are talking about. You keep changing the numbers and changing the arguement. Stay with one linear thought. And I did get a laugh out of the whole "fight" line. If someone poking holes in your posts on an internet message board makes you that upset, you have some serious maturity issues. But have at what ever you need to do buddy.

Neither pitcher works very fast, and the ump won't call strikes. Add that up for a 3 1/2 hour game.
