I guess the real story to this rumor is that some sports radio broadcaster for 610 WIP Philadelphia named Howard Eskin is reporting a rumor about an Abreu + Gavin Floyd for Contreras + Dye trade. Eskin claims "that's what" he's hearing.

It's funny that these Phillies fans question the trade when their GM said everything you need to know a couple weeks ago...

Haha, so true.
Many of the posters there would rather trade for Zito than Contreras. I really can't argue with that. Zito has had more consistent success than Contreras.

Orlando Cabrera, man what a waste of money he would have been. :puke
I forgot about Finley. I think Finley's problem is either that he's just too damn old now or that he's finally off the juice, or both.
Dye is still the worst hitter of the three so I'd rather see him batting fifth, regardless of worrying about the righty/lefty order. I still think a 3-4-5 of Thome, Konerko, and Dye makes the most sense.
Richie Sexson and Adrian Beltre, although Sexson played with the Indians in the beginning of his career and Beltre only had one really good season in the N.L.
We need to add size, not stay the same with another undersized C & PF combination of Chandler and Harrington. We already tried that this season with Chandler and Sweetney and it didn't work. I don't know how you are watching Bulls games and don't see that Chandler absolutely needs to be our PF.
