Sox @ Houston - World Series Game 3
According to you, the White Sox haven't been favored in even one game this entire postseason.

Biggest homer in Chicago history?
Podsednik's homer was pretty huge I guess. They took his bat so it could be placed in the Hall of Fame. I guess there aren't too many walkoff homers in the World Series.

Everett not in our lineup? Oh no, what will we do?

Jenks
Yes, he does need to just throw it. He must be afraid of hanging it. 100 MPH fastballs are very tough to hit but when Jenks gets tired and that MPH starts decreasing a bit and the Astros know that he is going to keep pounding fastballs, it gets easier to hit. He needs to throw the hammer to keep the batters on their toes and not knowing what is coming.

AND THATS A WHITE SOX WORLD SERIES WINNER!!!!!!
How much do Astros fans hate their so-called "stud" closer now?
-
Don't you just love?
Probably. Hopefully, they will finish this up quickly in Houston so Buehrle won't even have to pitch again.

Jenks
Did he even throw one hammer tonight? He only threw one in Game 1 but it struck the guy out. Is he too nervous to throw it for fear of hanging it?

Yeah, it wasn't his greatest outing but 4 ER through 7 innings in the World Series is far from a poor effort. He didn't throw inside on the Astros enough but the Astros also had the scouting report on Buehrle. Buehrle will often just groove in first-pitch strikes to get ahead in the count. The Astros knew this so they came out swinging.

Houston @ Sox - World Series Game 2
.237 AVG and 24 RBI's with RISP in the regular season. He was due and I'm glad he was.

Your predictions for losses usually means we win. YES!!!

Houston @ Sox - World Series Game 2
Thank you. I feel the exact same way.

Houston @ Sox - World Series Game 2
Manny may have terrible range and be a poor fielder but he does have a gun. It isn't just the Fenway effect.

Thank you for a bit of common sense.

Houston @ Sox - World Series Game 2
Manny led all outfielders in assists this season.

Houston @ Sox - World Series Game 2
Manny would have thrown the ball through Pierzynski's glove. He's got a gun.

Houston @ Sox - World Series Game 2
No. I will continue to critique players as I see fit. That's what baseball fans do on message boards, no? Congratulations on the huge homer though, Pods!!!

Houston @ Sox - World Series Game 2
I'm not hating on anyone. I think a left fielder should be able to make that throw, that is all. Any more cheap shots at me before you leave?

Houston @ Sox - World Series Game 2
I'm not b****ing at all. I'm just defending myself from jphat's ridiculous personal attacks.
-
Houston @ Sox - World Series Game 2
Yes, I do. Maybe you should lay off the pathetic attempt at personal attacks. If Podsednik's arm is bad enough that he can't make that throw, he shouldn't be out there. I'm happy as hell that he hit that homer. Thanks for questioning my fanhood though.

It would have also been clutch to make a decent throw to Pierzynski to end the game in the 9th, or did you forget about that?
-
Houston @ Sox - World Series Game 2
Thank you. I wasn't sure if I had enough baseball knowledge as jphat to tell that that was a godawful throw.
-
Houston @ Sox - World Series Game 2
I love how you just neglect to mention that even a half-way decent throw would have ended the game in the 9th inning. I'm happy as f*** that Podsednik made up for that terrible defensive play though.

If Podsednik makes even a decent throw the game would have been over anyways. Nice try though. :rolly
