  1. Yeah, I seem to remember Osuna throwing in the low 90's with his fastball. I've seen him throw a 77 MPH changeup and he also throws a good slider. I don't remember him throwing a curveball but if so, even better.
  2. Konerko just hit a BOMB to the base of the wall. 410 feet. Would have been a homer at the Cell but it's a double there.

  4. Oh God, I can't wait to see a video of this. Bwahahahahaha.
  5. Santo=dorf was the first one to bring up Osuna and he has to be better than the rest of these gas cans vying for the job.
  6. Borchard with a 2-out RBI up the middle! Keep raising that trade value, Borchie! 1-1 tie.
  7. A lot of pitchers pitch with some slight pain. It's normal. Prior yanks himself from starts with any slight discomfort he feels.
  8. Yep, this same thing happened last season and they didn't find anything wrong with his shoulder. Prior is a pussy.
  9. Hey man, Jerry Owens is a veteran compared to Boone Logan and Logan is going to be our second lefty!
  10. http://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/basebal...sports-baseball What do you do when one of your stud pitchers goes down? Yes, you trade away your third best bat for a scrub. Gotta love that Cubs' management!

  12. We should find out the real story when the MRI results are released today.
  13. They must have just been spewing the Cubs' propaganda bulls***. The Cubs' pitching coach Larry Rothschild said the same thing... http://www.soxtalk.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=47229
  14. I think that if KW was going to go that route and trust an unestablished guy with good minor league numbers he would have just kept Bajenaru. I think that if KW makes an acquisition, it will be for a more proven reliever with MLB experience. Besides, Boston already optioned Jermaine Van Buren to AAA Pawtucket a couple days ago so there is no numbers game for them to worry about. I think that Boston will probably want to keep Van Buren down at AAA to serve as insurance in case they have an injury to their bullpen or if one of their relievers tanks. Afterall, remember how putrid their bullpen was last season? It's a pretty good idea though. Van Buren has put up some sick numbers the past few years in the minors. The Cubs should have just kept him.

  16. I hope this post was full of sarcasm. The highest level this Logan guy has pitched at was 5.1 innings at Winston-Salem (Single A) last season.
  17. I doubt it. Mackowiak would probably get the playing time and they could keep Borchard or Owens as an extra outfielder.
  18. I too would like to see our guys start racking up a few more hits. But right now, I'm more concerned with Hermanson's replacement and the second lefty situation.
  19. He said all the same stuff last year. But I like Frank and hope he can stay healthy and productive. Hopefully, he will get #500 and retire.
