  1. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 12, 2012 -> 08:13 PM) The bench is soooo out playing the starting five. Rose is either out of game shape, still hurting, or both. I'm fairly certain it's both, unfortunately.
  2. A few Sox players at the Bulls game tonight. I know Beckham and Reed are there for sure.
  3. Gordon Beckham sitting right next to the Bulls replay monitor courtside with some hottie.
  4. I love the Bulls bench when Watson is taking smart shots and Gibson is playing to his capabilities.
  5. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Apr 12, 2012 -> 07:37 PM) The bulls have to be one of the worst teams at committing dumb fouls in transition It's either the SG or PF every time too. Rip now, Korver and Gibson in the past.
  6. QUOTE (Reddy @ Apr 12, 2012 -> 09:21 AM) same here. i don't remember the last time i had SODA. I don't know what soda is. Is it something similar to pop?
  7. Couldn't the NBA bump the game up an hour or two? f***, Blackhawks playoffs are on tonight.
  8. I've probably had about 4 cans of pop since December. All with alcohol. Just a lifestyle change for me to cut out pop and fast food.
  9. QUOTE (SoxFanForever @ Apr 11, 2012 -> 11:22 PM) Shea Weber = dumb I couldn't believe he did that when I saw it. There has to be something that Zetterberg did before that to tick him off. Hank did hit him from behind and kinda came up with the elbow, but I don't believe that that's all it took to piss Weber off like it did.
  10. QUOTE (TaylorStSox @ Apr 10, 2012 -> 12:29 AM) I always said Santos had some major red flags. His arm strength could always be an issue. He has trouble repeating his slider. When it's off, he's really hittable. He has a tendency to throw fast balls that go a long, long way. When his slider hangs, even I might be able to hit it. Obviously, it's too early to tell, but I never had a problem with selling high. I never have a problem selling high on a closer, period. It's a guy you bring on to get 3 guys out. Random guys can come in and be successful closers, and it happens all the time. Hell, Santos was a converted SS who became a successful closer.
  11. Rose was wearing a walking boot today. Apparently sprained his right ankle against the Knicks. For f***s sake...
  12. My Godfather lives in Alaska and I'd move there on the drop of a dime if I could. I really am not a fan of big cities, and having infinite fishing and hunting possibilities would be a dream come true. I was there in April, which is a cruddy time of the year, and I still fell in love with that state.
  13. QUOTE (bucket-of-suck @ Apr 9, 2012 -> 10:54 PM) Every fanbase says that. That's because baseball is such a mentally grueling sport. That's just the way it is.
  14. Snodgress will start this year in the Kanapolis rotation.
  15. QUOTE (Rowand44 @ Apr 9, 2012 -> 11:15 PM) It's obviously way too early to make this declaration and I'm sure Santos will be fine but the one thing I can say is that we had major league ready uber talented replacements for the 3 main guys that KW traded/let go. Which very well could become upgrades soon enought. Reed -> Santos Viciedo -> Quentin Sale -> Buehrle
  16. Bubba Watson from 30 yards into the woods and out of the mulch? You kidding me? One of the best shots I've ever seen.
  17. They kept Samardzija in way too long going for the CG W. He gave up a 2 run shot in the 9th. 2 outs, they bring in Marmol, and he walks the first batter.
  18. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 03:32 PM) Did you see the homers he hit Friday and Saturday nights? Did you see his strike outs?
  19. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 03:26 PM) They sure didn't look like a team playing for two points. Until the 3rd at least.
  20. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Apr 8, 2012 -> 03:30 PM) Sorry, 45 inches, just a little hyperbole and overexaggeration. But that's still better or comparable with Michael Jordan. Maybe only Spud Webb, before he became a topless girls girls basketball coach, and a few others top that. All those guys were great baseball players.
  21. It's exciting to be excited to watch the White Sox again.
