QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 4, 2012 -> 01:14 PM) I dont think quoting Sullinger's press accolades will change my opinion that Thomas may be the better pro. I just have concerns about Sullinger's game translating to the pros. Sullinger is about the same size as Zach Randolph, who he'll be a poor mans version of. That's valuable. If anything, I'd argue he's one of the guys who is most ready to go to the league and a team can plug right in. He's got a good low post game already. Worst case scenario, he's Michael Sweetney, best case scenario he's Zach Randolph or Chris Kaman or something around there.

QUOTE (RockRaines @ Apr 4, 2012 -> 12:24 PM) Davis could be Kevin Garnett He could be, but he won't be. I think people forget how dominant KG was in his prime. And he has a very consistent jumper out to 18-20 feet.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 3, 2012 -> 09:30 PM) Craigslist is your friend! I think I paid $175 for mine... I browsed Craigslist a ton, couldn't find much.

QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 3, 2012 -> 09:12 PM) I was thinking Okafor. Same idea really. I'm not sure he can be as much of a force on the boards as Okafor used to be, puts it's possible. He's going to get bumped out of position a lot early on.

QUOTE (iamshack @ Apr 3, 2012 -> 07:16 PM) Tell me you got the Powerblocks.... Ha. Haha. HAHAHA. I'm an unemployed college grad.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 3, 2012 -> 08:19 PM) Davis is getting overhyped. The guy is good, but the Centers in the pros are drastically better than those in college. Hes not Dwight Howard, hes more Joakim Noah. He's going to be a Marcus Camby/Tyson Chandler/Joakim Noah type player. He's not going to make any team a 50 win team unless they won 35+ the season before.

QUOTE (Soxbadger @ Apr 3, 2012 -> 03:18 PM) George Marshall (red shirt frosh) should play pg, they also have Traevon Jackson and Brust. Bo's system really isnt pg based so good chance you see a guy like Gasser in the PG role, etc. Taylor was a great player, but his on the ball play wasnt exactly the norm for Wisconsin. Marshall went to my HS. Pretty much the first player ever to go on to play in college from there.

Tune into the Lexington, KY police scanners right now.

QUOTE (Rex Hudler @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 10:48 PM) How many on UK will be one and done? 2? 3? Lamb and Jones were sophs, Miller a senior. I can't see Teague being ready. Wiltjer isn't going anyhwhere. I'm not defending Calipari and Kentucky, but does two one and done's make it a joke? QUOTE (danman31 @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 10:59 PM) Yeah, I'm with you. I don't see why Kentucky winning makes the rule a joke. Did the Fab 5 make college basketball a joke? Recruit a ton of HS All-Americans and you'll have a chance to win. No joke there. They had the top 2 freshman in the country and they were they're two best players down the stretch. And both are gone. And I wouldn't doubt it at all if Teague left too. But I guess I worded it poorly. The rule was stupid before Kentucky won. Should be able to leave out of HS or forced to stay 2 years in college like the MLB.

If it wasn't before, the 1-and-done NCAA rule is now officially a joke.

Hmm, I guess I wasn't that far off anyway.

That was almost a mammoth (and nearly impossible) and-1 by Robinson.

QUOTE (SoxFan1 @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 05:39 PM) Kentucky probably wins this one, but I don't think it'll be a rout like some believe it will be. Withey and Robinson will make it tougher for Kentucky to get the easy buckets in the paint, IMO. I say Kentucky by 11 or so, because of some late FT's. Never mind.

QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Apr 2, 2012 -> 07:24 PM) So that top-10/15 class of Richmond/Leonard/Head ended up with 122 games played, 38 games started, 37-29 record. Sigh. Richmond should still be in college. Unfortunately, he had lots of stupid people in his ear. -
The park is incredibly awesome outside of that awful, awful green color that is EVERYWHERE.

A comment from a YouTube video of The Rock/Cena's fight: Kinda sums it up for me. I just don't see the personalities and variety like there used to be. There's no one nearly as badass and evil and defiant as Stone Cold was. There's no one as legendary as Undertaker. There's no one as weird as Mankind. Can someone kind of give me a rundown of which guys are popular and not? Are there any comparisons between the new top guys and the guys from the late 90s and early 2000s? NOTE: Though I'm kinda liking how defiant CM Punk is. And he's from Chicago. After watching all these Cena/Punk stuff, I can't tell whether I like or hate either of them. I have mixed emotions haha.

Ok, so I'm getting confused. There's heavyweight champion and a WWE champion? What's the difference?

QUOTE (JoeCoolMan24 @ Apr 1, 2012 -> 11:03 PM) No, no, no. That point tonight was bad news. The Hawks need to LOSE OUT the rest of the season. If they make it to the 5th seed, then they play the Red Wings in RD 1. If they stay in the 6th spot, they play LA. Hawks better not lose this seeding. I'm fine playing the Red Wings, would rather avoid LA .
