  1. QUOTE(Kalapse @ Nov 10, 2005 -> 12:19 AM) Hmm . . . kinda interesting because I happen to be reading Grossman's '03 NFL Draft scouting report right now. Shockingy, there's no mention of him being prone to injury. Rex Grossman ANALYSIS Positives: Has solid, compact muscle development with broad shoulders, big hands and adequate leg definition … Shows smoothness in his pass drop, taking short, quick strides … Gets rid of the ball on time with a quick release, displaying good velocity on his long tosses … Keeps his poise standing in the pocket and quickly comes back after the sack … Throws on time with touch, anticipating the receiver's moves and coverage … Hits his targets in stride, reads the field quickly and rarely hesitates to throw long … Very good at locating his secondary targets … Throws the long ball with an arc to gain distance and is seldom late in getting the ball to his target. Negatives: Needs better judgment, as he tends to throw the ball to dangerous spots in the zone, risking the costly interception … Carries the ball a little low, which causes his delivery to slow down at times … Feels pressure and slides his feet well to avoid, but his mobility is only marginal … Lacks a short touch, putting too much on his throws … Has trouble following through with his release when flushed out of the pocket … Lacks the burst needed to escape the pocket.[/b] SHOCKING! I mean come on, the guy was a great college QB but until he is 100% healthy, we will never know his true Pro abilites and quite frankly (hate to use the term) Grossman will not get a shot with the Bears this season unless Orton (god forbid) goes down. As far as I am concerned, the job is Orton's for good. Unless Orton completely blows the next few weeks and Grossman is amazing in practices, then Orton is your Qb the entire season. Honestly, I think Grossmans days in Chicago might be numbered. As a pro, he is injury prone and it is very unfortunate to say so.
  2. QUOTE(qwerty @ Nov 10, 2005 -> 12:17 AM) He looked good defensively the first game... really good. The last three games? The last three games he has looked stupid again... and often. Exactly. Once he gets consistently effective defensively then he has to be in the lineup. He looks lost on D sometimes. SG's can take him most of the time...and easily.
  3. QUOTE(Chisoxfn @ Nov 9, 2005 -> 11:26 PM) St. Clair is going to start at RT. I'm pretty sure he was a former starter with the Rams. Yessir. Learned everything he knows from Orlando Pace....I hope.
  4. Ben is an asset on offense but liability on defense. I am sorry but he is not ready to start just yet.
  5. Bulls starting lineup should be: Duhon Hinrich Deng Sweetney Chandler IMO, that is a good starting lineup. Maybe a toss-up between Sweetney/Songaila.
  6. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Nov 9, 2005 -> 07:12 PM) you are picking apart the realism of a video game that made up some draft busts for a advertising gag. Sit back and think about that for a sec. ........................So?
  7. QUOTE(Steve9347 @ Nov 9, 2005 -> 11:46 PM) had to make one, because i have the disc. Check your PM's.
  8. Little did I know until 15 minutes ago (be it they're all sold out) but Reebok made 2005 commemerative World Series shoes with the White Sox logo and world series logo too. Apparently it was in the paper. They made only (you guessed it) 2,005 pairs of them. Anyone from SoxTalk manage to pick up a pair? Sucks being size 14 sometimes.
  9. QUOTE(qwerty @ Nov 9, 2005 -> 06:39 PM) Sorry to break it to you but cabrakapa is probally their best big off the bench. He would be starting if not for foyle and his contract. Hmm, guess I was wrong. Maybe it's not his skill, but the Warriors lack of skill at PF/C.
  10. Sergei's Uncle on Sergei......not in Serbian. FYI. EDIT: They pay horrible attention to detail. 1st off, he was born in Serbia yet went to college in Croatia. 2nd, in the video, it says he plays ball in Russia? Then the whole uncle thing.... :headshake EDIT EDIT: And on top of that, Billy Joe Cuthbert was a 2nd round pick. 2nd rounders arent busts.
  11. Those videos are absolutely amazing. I love the sound of a great PING over a big CRACK. The gameplay just looks a little to herky-jerky though. I'll definitely miss the aspect of having the Sox though. Especially since they'd be ranked #1. Boohoo.
  12. What? Cabarkapa is NOT a key bench player. LMAO. Oh, and I give the Bulls about 3-4 games before Deng becomes the starting SF. That kid is an athletic freak!
  13. Holy s*** that blows. He is a very large man so that impact must have really f***ed him up. The O-Line has been a strong point this season. Hope he gets back ASAP.
  14. Well, he is not retiring but he is done for the season.
  15. If PK re-signs, he will undoubtedly get THE biggest opening day standing ovation in the history of the world.
  16. I shutter to think that Jerry Manual actually won this award before too. ::Shutters:: Congrats Ozzie!!!!!!!
  17. Glad some people are into the idea. Whoever wants to make the 1st challenge can start a new thread...
  18. QUOTE(SSH2005 @ Nov 8, 2005 -> 03:09 AM) What's more impressive? Re-tooling your entire team and winning a World Series or building towards the future with no real guarantee of a World Series? I know which one I would pick. Yeah he brought a WS championship team but people might be quick to forget the youth he brought here too. Ando, Jenks, Bmac, Cotts, Young, Gio, Rogo, etc. All KW....I think.
  19. I agree with the majority. You can't take Orton out now. He has done more in 8 games than Grossman has in 3 years. EDIT: Let me re-word this.....Orton has earned the job. I only see Rex taking over if Orton gets hurt or if they see something abso-f***ing-lutely fantastic from Rex at practices. BTW, why isn't Henry Burris on this poll!
  20. QUOTE(rangercal @ Nov 8, 2005 -> 01:49 AM) If it were @ 'Zona , Maybe. But still No. If the circumstances were exactly as you stated, the spread would be 20. Like I said, just a hunch.
  21. QUOTE(rangercal @ Nov 8, 2005 -> 01:45 AM) I don't think that will happen . If it does, I'll hire you to make my playoff picks. I'll be getting in touch with you soon. If they go into week 17 undefeated, 'Zona will win. If they have already lost a game goign into week 17, they will win. Book it. Just a gut feeling.
  22. 'Zona will f*** them up in week 17 and they'll go 15-1.
  23. QUOTE(greasywheels121 @ Nov 8, 2005 -> 01:36 AM) I know, I was there. My apologies....
  24. Some cheerleaders just shouldnt be cheerleaders at all. Check out this guy on the Jaguars squad: http://www.jaguars.com/cheerleaders/indiv/?Yvette
  25. QUOTE(Heads22 @ Nov 8, 2005 -> 01:32 AM) It's at Jacksonville I believe, and for some reason the Colts struggle mightily against the Jags. Jaguars are underrated IMO. They have a great special teams squad Scobee and Hanson. And their return game is great with Toefield and Mathis. They have a good young core on O and D. I'm calling an "upset" in that game.
