I didn't like his album much.... oh wait, that's Mike Jones. I'll still pass thanks. He can be fun to watch, but unless we can get him for a steal, I'd look elsewhere.

QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Dec 11, 2005 -> 03:01 PM) Come on. Look at where these people are from. A Republican has as a snowballs chance in hell of winning those districts. The Republicans suddenly gave Montana up? And Virginia? And Michigan?

QUOTE(NUKE_CLEVELAND @ Dec 11, 2005 -> 03:03 PM) That guy has a creative imagination. And the scars to prove it. Seriously Nuke - if this story was true. What would you say it says about us?

When we talked about torture being acceptable or not - this is one of the stories that I had in mind. It's a far cry from bonbons and I really hope that the story is inaccurate. http://observer.guardian.co.uk/internation...1664612,00.html If even half of this story is true, what does this say about us as a society? What does it say about how we're handling the war on terror? Please don't slip into discrediting the story or anyone that might be involved. What I want to see here is what your reaction would be IF this story is true.

Not the ones who stay true to their roots. Look at Bernie Sanders. The guy is so liberal, he won't even join the Democratic Party. He won his 2004 election by 40 points. Look at Barbara Boxer. She got more votes than anyone else in the country besides Bush and Kerry last year. Look at Brian Schweitzer in Montana. Paul Hackett in Ohio - who almost won a seat in one of the most Republican districts in the state. Look at Barney Frank. Look at Debbie Stabenow, Jennifer Granholm, Frank Lautenberg, Jon Corzine, Frank Pallone, Rush Holt, the new Governor of Virginia - Kaine, Chuck Schumer, Carl Levin, Ted Kennedy. The list goes on. There are plenty of genuine liberal politicians who win convincingly every time.

The future of the Democratic party is to be unabashedly liberal. Most Americans are.

I LOVE watching Brazillian soccer.

I want to give my parents a crossing on the Queen Mary 2 next summer. It would force them to visit me here on the east coast before their sailing and it would force them to visit my mom's youngest sister who they rarely see in Hamburg, Germany.

I need to watch Jo Jo Dancer, Your Life is Calling.

The allegory doesn't bother me at all. I don't mind some religioning in my movie as long as it doesn't beat be about the head and shoulders with it. I'm just not a fan of fantasy movies - and I was expecting the film to be more dungeons and dragons dorky than it actually was.

Joe Lieberman is angling to be the "bipartisan" filler in the Bush cabinet. The party may very well fire up a primary challenger against him this year. As well they should, he's a DLC guy - and that's not the future of this party anymore.

I stopped watching the Real World after the english guy had his tongue bitten off in 1995.

I saw it and have to admit I liked it a lot more than I wanted to.

QUOTE(sec159row2 @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 01:56 PM) Because you see conservatives interrupting speakers all the time, right. This type of behavior is commonplace for liberals who think their opinions are all that matter. Cindy Sheehan spoke at the same school and you have not heard of any interruptions of her drabble. Ann Coulter is an insult comic who describes herself to be a pundit. Big difference between her and Cindy Sheehan who's a political activist.

QUOTE(FlaSoxxJim @ Dec 9, 2005 -> 10:48 AM) Now THAT'S the correct way to quote Tap! It's very pretty.. . What do you call this? Lick my love pump.

Hi apples meet oranges! I'm a firm believer in organizing. And if these people cared so much about the issue, I'm sure they could make an awful big stink about why they were fired. Maybe they could inform patrons as they entered the business. There are lots of ways to make their opinion heard. Faulty electrical wiring can cause a fire today. The safe storage of foods prevents food poisoning. That's not something that may or may not crop up in 30 years after you work somewhere. Ditto the disposal of wastes. There's a big difference between regulating for immediate hazard and possible health risk down the road.

Bobby Jenks! With the big man reliever, there's always more to love!

It's harder still to expect Air Marshals to know he has that problem.

The story I heard was that he was being disruptive and told it to either airline personnel and/or police. And that he was reboarding the plane after going through customs in Miami and it was in customs, not on board the plane where the problems occurred.
