Boy Scout Jamboree...
I almost wonder given the security necessities for a presidential visit, if its worth it for the Scouts anymore. Time was, that the security didn't used to be so ridiculous to be in the crowd.

Robin Hood and Air America
So, it turns out, there is a Bronx News. I found a phone number, at least. It also turns out that Air America helps the same center at the center of this controversy out and have been raising money over the air this summer for "Camp Air America." http://www.gloriawise.org/campexp.html

Robin Hood and Air America
Hey, anyone did any research on this story? It supposedly came from the Bronx News. Anyone heard of the Bronx News? There's a Bronx Times. Not a Bronx News far as anyone else can say.

Boy Scout Jamboree...
http://news.yahoo.com/news?tmpl=story&u=/a..._re_us/jamboree I feel bad for the kids that waited for the President. Two hours in the sun, and he doesn't show because of a weather risk? Damn, that sucks.

Jakkos new new album bombs
His name was revealed in the Martin Bashir special before all the hubbub started. It was like the third Greatest Hits collection released by Michael Jackson in the last ten years. Selling 8000 copies is actually pretty good I think.

Moby to Eminem: Thanks!
That album was from 1997 and featured the single "That's When I Reach for My Revolver." I was in college radio at the time. We renamed it: "That's When I Reach for my Mom's Vulva."

Moby to Eminem: Thanks!
QUOTE(Kid Gleason @ Jul 28, 2005 -> 11:01 PM) Well, he has respect for him hating the President, but he doesn't respect him for hating all of the other people he has said he hates. So, in other words, hate is cool by Moby as long as you hate what he does. Moby is a prick, and so is M&M. It's funny watching a guy who plays Tech and a guy who plays Rap argue over music styles. Plus, I bet if you put them both in the ring you would have to watch them both "b**** slap" each other silly. He should have retired after Play. Has anyone ever heard the trainwreck that is "Animal Rights?" Moby's hardcore rock album? Terr-i-ble.

Biggest American superband ever...
QUOTE(LosMediasBlancas @ Jul 28, 2005 -> 09:36 PM) Bowie is British and Redding is a solo artist, but yes good points. I have a love for David Bowie. Quite possibly the best rock musician artist EVER. But Golden Years (feat. Luther Vandross on backup) was written and recorded based on Philly Soul. That's all I was saying.

Biggest American superband ever...
If your applying the US scene to the mix, you'd then have to argue that "Golden Years" by David Bowie is one of the best Philly soul songs ever. Speaking of soul - three words. Otis f***ing Redding.

Moby to Eminem: Thanks!
Moby is just weird. But I don't think he said he liked him, just that he had respect for him.

Recess Appointment in the works...
QUOTE(kapkomet @ Jul 28, 2005 -> 09:26 AM) I doubt it. I think they want to say he spent his money on all the anti Democrat issues and therefore has the wrong ideals to be a justice on the SCOTUS. It's also past precedent to do this. Withholding it raises more suspicions.
