What are the Vikings doing?
It's a back loaded contract that only has 16 mil guaranteed,it was done for long term cap management and will result in him getting cut in three years more than likely.

Kenny Williams
Nick Leyva was in Charlotte? Who gave him permission to leave extended ST in Arizona?
-
I really dont like Sylvester Stallone
That movie was based on a fictional novel written by David Morrell, who also helped write the screenplay. Your a dumbass.
-
Dammit!
Your ugly too, want him to fix that for you also?

This years All Star Game Different
I would call Bud an imbecile for this idea, but it would be an insult to imbeciles worldwide to do so.

Aaron Miles
Aaron Miles re-signed with the Sox with a minor league contract in November for 2003.
-
Mark Buerhle
He was non tendered,he can be offered and accept a deal at any time prior to the start of the season, after the start of the season the Sox would have to make room for him on the twenty five man roster.
-
watch out for clee next year
Alomar did nothing for the Sox,hence the reason he is a stiff.
-
Aaron Miles
OK I have to ask, since you are pushing this hard for a twenty seven year old prospect that has never been above AA,plays less than average defense in a position that needs better than average defense, and has little speed or baserunning skills, are you his brother,or perhaps his cousin?
-
Aaron Miles
Well if you really want a guy that could never rise above AA in a six year career playing second base for the Big club, that is up to you,but I think most fans would rather not have to watch that.
-
Aaron Miles
How in the hell do you blame Kenny for a six year minor leaguer filing for FA? The Sox have no power to prevent it from happening.
-
Aaron Miles
He wasn't released,he filed as a minor league FA as he has his six years of service time in.

Rocky Biddle should be a starting pitcher...
Wright can throw five pitches for strikes, anyone that thinks he sucks should go back to pitching 101 and start all over.
-
Here is a Surprise
It will be impossible for Dallaero to make it back to the bigs,he has never been there.
-
Jason Dellaero to Charlotte, outright
.214 shows he doesn't want to hit much, either. I never said he could hit,I was replying to Chisoxfn's assertion that he can concentrate on pitching.
-
Jason Dellaero to Charlotte, outright
Dallero doesn't want to pitch.
-
To all the KW haters...
Paul Byrd is from Atlanta, ever think that might have something to do with it?
-
ill give kenny some credit here...(gulp)
Kenny had nothing to do with this, this deal was done by JR and Arn Tellum,no one else was involved.
-
i just wanted to say.........
Hey,don't hold back, say what you really feel.

Still have no shot at Colon?
Either that or the bar he was sitting in didn't have ESPN on the TV.

Could someone please enlighten me???
First off, note that it's not the "Rule V Draft," but the Rule 5 draft. It's called the Rule 5 draft because the section of the Official Rules that covers the draft just happens to be Rule 5 in the book. Eligibility: A player not on a team's Major League 40-man roster is eligible for the Rule 5 draft if: the player was 18 or younger when he first signed a pro contract and this is the fourth Rule 5 draft since he signed, OR if he was 19 or older when he first signed a pro contract and this is the third Rule 5 draft since he signed. A player drafted onto a Major League roster in the Rule 5 draft must remain in the majors (on the 25-man active roster or the DL) for all of the subsequent season, or the drafting club must attempt to return him to his original club. However, since a returned Rule 5 player must first be placed on outright waivers, a third club could claim the player off waivers. But of course, that club would then also have to keep him in the majors all season, or offer him back to his original club. Occasionally, the drafting club will work out a trade with the player's original team, allowing the drafting club to retain the player but send him to the minors.

WHY JOE!!!!
You are complaining about the loss of a 26th round draft pick that was lost to the rule 5 draft last year, and then reclaimed off of waivers? LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!!!
-
SN Report: Arizona Fall League Report
Umm that makes zero sense,he wouldn't be a player to be named later,as he is on the 40 man roster, the ptbnl would be someone that can't be named until after the rule 5 draft, not someone on the forty man roster.

quick question......
With the new CBA, you can. No you still can't,perhaps you should read the particulars of the CBA?
-
quick question......
Is he just waiting for arbitration or is he technically a free agent? I thought Parque and Ritchie are the only two remaining Sox that were abritration eligible which would lead me to believe Paul is still with the Sox. My intention was he would be the first to be waived to clear room on the roster.
